Tablescape Thursday ~ A Bar Setting…

Most of my stuff comes from Thrift stores, Marshalls, TjMaxx, or Target Clearance. I very rarely pay full price for anything. The pink jewel napkin rings are shower curtain hooks.

And here’s a variation on the black and white polka dot theme.

Tablescape Thursday ~ Royal Stafford

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday! Please visit our hostess Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to visit more tables .

This week I’m setting the table with my Royal Stafford Dishes with Country Scenes on them. I bought 8 dinner plates and 8 salad plates from Marshalls. The dinner plates were $3.95 each and the salad plates were $2.95 each.

I bought the goblets at Goodwill and they cost me $3.00 for all 4.

I layered the black and white polka dot napkins and used the pearl napkin rings I bought at Target clearance a couple years ago.

Thank you for visiting me here and taking the time to comment. I do appreciate all my visitors and new bloggy friends.

Blessings…

Tablescape Thursday ~ Bedroom Tea Tray

I’ve so enjoyed this weekly meme. It is a creative outlet that brings me lots of joy. It starts with the searching for treasure at thrifty prices then putting them together to create a pleasing result. It’s also fun to look around at what you already have and see what you can put together that you didn’t think of before.

Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for being such a great hostess of this weekly event.

Tablescape Thursday ~ Aqua & Red

Welcome to another Tablescape Thursday. Susan at Between Naps on the Porch is the hostess for this weekly event. Click on over to see lots of pretty tables around Bloggyworld.

Since most of my tables are very thrifty I’m adding this post to Thrifty Thursday with Leigh at Tales from Bloggeritaville.

I had my new thrift store aqua blue tablecloth on the table for my scape last week I decided to change it up and throw in some red.

The old roosters are from Dear’s mother. The red martini glasses are from Target clearance. I enjoy a martini from time to time but I also like to use these glasses for serving dessert. The red patterned plates are from tj maxx and the top salad/dessert plates (Warren Kimble) are from Goodwill as is the candle holder with red dangling crystals.

The napkins are from a thrift store on Main St. in Ventura and the napkin rings are, too. The napkin rings are pear shaped.

Tablescape Thursday ~ Aqua!

Tablescape Time Again! Visit our hostess Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to see what people are setting this week.

I had fun putting together all things aqua and close to aqua for this weeks table.

As usual most everything on this table is from Goodwill, other Thrift stores, and garage sales. The centerpiece and stainless are Target clearance. The centerpiece was $4.24.

Time for a confession again. I only had 3 napkins in this pattern but also had a place-mat in the same pattern so I fanned it and jammed the Eiffel Tower napkin ring on it. Oh and speaking of confessions…the Eiffel Tower napkin rings are really shower curtain hooks!

We’re flying home to Los Angeles from Seattle this evening so I hope to get around tomorrow to see your tablescapes!

Tablescape Thursday ~

Welcome to my Tablescape this week. Visit our hostess Susan at Between Naps on the Porch to see more or to join in.

This is another setting in my living room in Washington. I started with the tablecloth and worked off it to find things around the house for the setting. The tablecloth came from Target clearance or Goodwill, can’t remember which! :0)

The Pewter tankards were purchased in England in 1973. I found the brown and white plates Royal Stafford, Fine Earthenware, est. 1845, Made in England and red napkins at Goodwill. I liked how the colors in the Russian lacquer items fit the scape. The Pewter hurricane lamp was a wedding gift. The napkin rings goblets and cocktail napkins that are in the goblets are target clearance. Red chargers from Sears. The white dinner plates are my everyday Italian Countryside. The tea light holders are Christmas exchange gifts. The red silk heart with tassel is a gift from my friend Beth. The silver is Community Plate, Sheffield England from my SIL’s Great Aunt.

Dear and I are headed up to Seattle for a longer than long Memorial Weekend. Yippee! We’ll see if I have time to check out my stash and come up with more tablescapes while I’m there. I definitely will make a trip to my favorite Goodwill Store!

Have a great Memorial Weekend to all my U.S. friends. Hope Victoria Day Weekend was great for our Canadian friends!

Tablescape Thursday ~ Twofer…

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday. I’m sharing two settings today with slight variations in pink green and white. These settings are from my livingroom in Washington in early Spring. I’ve been away from the computer a couple of days and had this post ready to go. I hope to share some photos from family festivities in Laguna Beach, California and The Happiest Place on Earth soon!

Tablescape Thursday ~ Simply Meat & Potatoes!

It’s time for Tablescapes from Bloggy world. Susan is the brain child for this weekly event and it really is fun to see the creativity out there. My confession this week (I haven’t confessed in a while) is that I’ve had to give myself the restriction of only buying a bargain plate that I find at my thrift stores if it is made in England! My condo cannot accommodate many more plates people!!

When I was home in Washington in March I set this simple table for a dinner I made for my kids. This was the first time I tried fanning the napkins and I like how that looked. We had lamb loin chops, baked potatoes, salad with Persian dressing, and then an apple strudel for dessert that I purchased from a local bakery…

Tablescape Thursday ~ Mad Hatter Tea

For Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch I wanted to share photos I took of a Mad Hatter Bridal Tea Party I attended last year. The hosts for this party did such an amazing job of decorating and planning this lovely event. It was given in honor of my nephew’s bride to be.

It was strongly requested that we wear hats to the event, after all it was a mad hatter tea…

This is my SIL and me in our hats :0)

Tablescape Thursday ~ In the Yard!

When I was at my home in Washington State I thought it would be fun to do a tablescape outdoors. The weather was lovely and I raced against the setting sun to set this table in my front yard. The neighbors are probably wondering about me…

This is a vintage tablecloth that my MIL had in her stash. The hobnob little clear & milky plates are from Dear’s Great, great aunt Emma. The old silver flatware is from Dear’s parents too.

We bought these beautiful daffodils at Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. I loved the fullness of them and the added orange.

Oh and looky here Jack Sparrow and Sparra Queen Warbeak made it into an actual tablescape!
