I’ve so enjoyed this weekly meme. It is a creative outlet that brings me lots of joy. It starts with the searching for treasure at thrifty prices then putting them together to create a pleasing result. It’s also fun to look around at what you already have and see what you can put together that you didn’t think of before.
Thanks to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for being such a great hostess of this weekly event.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
I love the blue and purple together, so pretty! Very pretty little tea set.
Beautiful setting….I would love to have breakfast in bed ! Love the pewter ? flatware….Napkin is very pretty !

Very pretty Ellen…I love blue. That would make anyone who might be sick in bed, or elderly and frail, or needing a time out rest , feel much much better!
Thanks for visiting my doors. Yes, I love to photograph the architecture I see. And everything is fine here… daughter and grandson feeling quite a bit better after their feverish flu etc…return home to Australia very soon, after the little grandson’s birthday next week!
Love the Heritage photos below also! As well as the beach!

Lovely, Ellen! I like the color scheme you did this week – very summer-y! The Blue Danube teapot and matching cup and saucer are making me swoon!!!
Very delicate and lovely!
You have made my heart yearn for the true spirit of the European tea time…
You have given us a cozy delight, in a very warm and welcoming setting!
Your Breakfast in Bed is so lovely! The little teapot napkin rings, the beautiful napkin with the lace, the tray, the bedding, everything was gorgeous! Makes you feel pampered and beautiful! Thank you for sharing!

Oh, I gladly have some tea there!!
What a cute idea Ellen B.! Who would have thought about doing a bedroom tea tray? ANd it looks lovely I might add :).
I’m glad you liked the park and the houses. Isn’t that church adorable?!!! They used to give lath and plaster classes inside and I was always tempted to learn, but the idea of driving the freeway was a bit unnerving. How’d you like those exits? Crazy huh? I don’t think that freeway has ever been improved.
I need to start walking DESPERATELY, but work seems to get in the way of so many things…life!
I hope you have an enjoyable evening…I’m going to bed. See you in the morning :). I haven’t figured out what I’m going to post for R.
xoxo Cori G.

I agree the blue and purple are a good combo, but the green pillow is what makes it all pop!

Hello Ellen!
Not only is the setting romantic and beautiful, but the photos are so professional. I just love the way you capture images…so artistic. Beautiful job. Thank you so much for this inspiring setting.
Beautiful! One of my all-time favorite color combinations. Can’t go wrong with that serene set of colors.
Brenda
Blue and white china tea set, how lovely. I had an antique store at one time and had one about a hundred years old. I sure wish I had it back! Love the little napkin ring, what a nice touch.
My mother has blue danube that she inherited from her mother. I talked to her today and she asked me about the blue and white china that I posted last week (Spode Blue Fitzgerald). She said she had never seen it my home and she thought I was hiding it from her because I know how much she loves blue and white! I told her I only had 3 place settings of the Spode (the truth, I swear) and that it is not nearly as pretty as her Blue Danube. Peace returns! Love your blue and white. Apparently, I get it from my mother!
Christi
Ellen, this is so lovely! another beautiful setting for one! Your bedding is beautiful, too!
Have a happy weekend!
