We had a girls outing to Junk Drunk at the Ag Center in Colville on Saturday morning and JJ was our bodyguard.
He was a little trooper in his daddy’s sweat suit from 1981!
Addy had her mommy, granny, granny great, auntie and baba to watch over her.
She was wondering where the animals were since she was at this location (the fair grounds) just a couple weeks ago to see all the fair animals.
We took the obligatory selfie to document everyone at our outing and then stopped to take a few more photos at the sunflower patch.
We ended our time together with lunch out. Addy was a great little conversationalist, asking each of us the question, “where is your mommy?” When we told her where our mommy was she asked, “what is she doing?” I told her my mommy was in heaven with Jesus and she was probably singing. Jaymison slept through lunch.
Our weather has been wet and promises to continue in a wet pattern. I won’t have to water this week and might not need to water again until next Spring.

What a sweet, fun time you all had. The sunflower photos are adorable.
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
…nice to see that the little fellow was included too!
Hello, Ellen
Girls Day out looks fun. Great photos, I love the cute photos of Addy by the sunflowers. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week ahead!
What a fun outing for all of you girls!! (I do love a girls’ outing sometimes.) Glad you took the selfie so we can see all of your happy faces! Nice to have the bodyguard along with you. 🙂
I want to be drunk with JUNK too….I love places like this! Darling pics of those sweet babies. Also love the quote from Spurgeon.

Oh that sounds like a fantastic day. Love the picture of Addy in the sunflowers.
And now I’ve got “ Showers of blessing” ( hymn) on my mind!
These photos and stories are great! Four generations is nothing to take for granted.
Great Girls Day outing. Your grands are fortunate to have so many people who love them close by! Love all the (extended) family photos, but the sunflower ones (especially the last) with your darling girl are prize-worthy. By next year’s JunkDrunk event, your totally adorable (but sleepy) bodyguard may want to join the other members of the family for a guys day event!
Fabulous day out! I really enjoyed the “bookend” photos of Addy toward the middle where she waits first with one foot out and then the other. Too cute. Jaymison is getting so big!
