My fences this week are from a trip Dear and I took a couple years ago to Long Beach, Washington. These fences are in Oysterville, Washington.
The texture that the moss or lichen added to this fence was very interesting but the damage to the wood is probably significant, too.
This is the oldest house in Oysterville. We enjoyed walking through this little town and also reading up on the history.
You can click over to TexWisGirl at Run*A*Round Ranch to see other fences from around the world.
Can you believe we are coming up on Labor Day Weekend here in the States? Got any plans?

CUTE little place in the last photo. the ‘fuzz’ on that fence is amazing!! thanks, ellen b!
Great photos of that cute little fuzzy fence. And, an adorable house.
What an interesting pace to visit. I enjoy seeing historical places that have been kept up and fenced in.
Those first fences almost look they they are growing hair and need a shave. But they give the photo such a nice, soft ambience.
I’ve never seen any moss on a fence before, it looks very pretty. Great photos!
Wonderful shots. That moss covered fence is fabulous. I love the Long Beach, WA area. My dad’s sister use to have a cabin there and we often visited in the summer. I enjoyed your post very much.
such a cute spot, you captured it beautifully!!!
What a charming place! I like the rustic fence with the flowers growing through. Is that lichen growing on/taking over the fence?
Thanks for your visit and kind comment on my fences. 🙂

I thought my eyes were blurry. How shabby chic cute! And perfect for good fences! Hugs!
PS If you ever do a watercolor effect with photos…the first two would be beautiful! Hugs!
What a cute house and fence.. I love the flowers and mossy fence.. Great shots!
I love the fence with the moss or lichen on it. it is so lovely.
Mossy fences are so picturesque, but probably not very well-kept. Labour Day weekend here involves travel to another province. Enjoy your weekend.
Fine shots of this interesting place I’ve never visited…yet. Those fences look alive from the growth.
I really REALLY like your picket fences!
