What a lovely discovery I made today on one of my adventures, Madam Fifi’s Tea Room and Bakery located at Country Village in Bothell.
The Tea Room was decorated with all this lovely blue.
I enjoyed a half-sandwich with a salad and Earl Grey Tea. I was surprised when a plate of scones came out at the end of my meal. So surprised that I took a bite before I could photograph it. All the food I had was delicious and fresh tasting. The scones were melt in your mouth perfect with just enough cream and lemon curd. Hmmm, I wonder why I’m not losing weight!? :0)
There are lots of tea accessories for sale in the Tea Room, too.
I would recommend Madam Fifi’s Tea Room. Lana, I’d love take you here for your birthday!
To see the menu and hours go to their website.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
Simply charming – it makes this “blue/white” lover “green” with envy you have a tea room like that!!!
I know you had move to Bothell when your family was young, but is Mother Ship close by Bothell also?
Wendy, Yes the Mother Ship is close to Bothell! Blessings.
I want to go there too! Your photo documentation is just wonderful!
That Kewpie doll in the bird cage is a tea accessory??
The tea room actually looks delightful. What a fun discovery! I hope you’ll have many opportunities to return there for tea!
Earl Gray is probably my favorite tea!
Our local tea shop is the polar opposite of Madame Fifi’s. Sleek, bare bone, modern, Tea Gschwendner’s is not about the atmosphere, let me tell you! But it has a wonderful selection of tea!
Someday when you come and visit me, we’ll have a pot or two at Tea Geschwendners.

Very cute……….that is you in the cage showing us your lovely figure after the scones……….lol.
Isn’t that blue beautiful. Although blue is a sad color for me this week.
I ordered some Lauren Burch bountiful blessings.
In every site that I look at there is a selection of blue.
One site did have the decency to call it purple……not the site I ordered from…..and oh it was purple, the pink side of purple not the lovely royal blue side of purple….so have 3 half yards to either sew or give away.
Not a happy camper. In good faith..or because I am stupid…I ordered it again in red. Surely they cannot mess up red.
sobs.
Oh, what fun! That is my kind of place! Next time wait for me…Wish I didn’t live so far away–LOL! What a great place for tea–that has to be one of the most perfect, fun, relaxed tea rooms–LOVE it! That kewpie in the cage is hilarious! Thank you for sharing this outing with us. Happy weekend ((HUGS))
Oh my gosh! I was here last night and thought I posted about the darlingness of this tea room. Maybe I was just dreaming about how fun it would be to have tea there, but it is adorable. I love the colors and the clutter. You must have had a wonderful time…wish I coulda been there.
Oh, I posted a better picture of the whisky bottle for “Dear.” Does he collect them?
I am so there! I love these kinds of places! We have one sort of like this, but not nearly this fantastical.
Hey, come by and p/u your gift – if you like: Perfect Blend of Friendship
This looks like an absolutely fun place! Congratulation BTW on winning Melissa’s strawberry teakettle blog give-away!
I just got back from a convertible drive – stopped at a teahouse – had lobster sandwiches – then to an ice cream parlour for a waffle cone… I don’t wonder one little bit why I’m not losing weight 🙂
Oh how I’d love to visit this tea room! And I love the blue and white china. How very, very fun! ~Arleen
What a nice treat for you. I love all the blue decor, although the Kewpie in the cage is just a bit weird. “Wrong” as the kids would say!
I don’t know, Kewpie dolls always sort of freaked me out. Maybe they do belong in cages….. Maybe we could lock up the clowns too.
What a wonderful journey.
Looks like a great place!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Come back again!
looks fantastic! I could use a tea about now!
This looks like a really cute place. You have such fun places there in Washington.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. It was fun to read another blog from Washington. This place looks divine! Great collage of pictures.
Ellen, what a wonderful presentation you’ve put together! Your photos are so well done that I’ve posted them on the home page of my website. Please check your e-mail, since I sent you a gift certificate for a free lunch as a thank you for this wonderfully generous effort. You Rock!
And Scrabblequeen & kbagdonov, I love the kewpie doll commentary!!! Giggles abound.
Christine, Thanks and your very welcome. Lana and I hope to get to your place before I have to head back to California.
Okay – we are so there for my birthday! Love it!
you know, I’ve only been to “tea” once, several years ago….you’ve got me wanting to grab a couple girls and go find a tearoom myself here lately!!

Madam fifi’s owner bought the shop from the original kristine (owner of the original shop which was called peach tree tea and bakery) and decided to sell it back to her (kristine) its the same shop and even better service and food and tea and its now called Red Rooster tea and bakery
the website is redroosterteacompany.tk
Bummer! I recently went back to Madam Fifi’s after having been there with a friend last summer, but it’s not Madam Fifi’s anymore! I really miss the Fifi personality with the kitschy music, vintage photos of Flappers and meat ball soup. The new place is ok, but it lacks Madam Fifi’s personality and chicken curry. Madam Fifi’s will definitely be missed by me and my friends. : (
Barb! My sister and I feel exactly the same way. We really miss Madame Fifi (Christine), too!!
