Thrifty and Blue!

This week I’m combining my Thrifty finds with Blue Monday. My two tiered server was $3.99. I liked the yellow blue and green color scheme and set it at the center of my tablescape that I’ll show later this week. I bought packages of these old fashioned looking hankies to layer with my napkins. The hankies were 3 in a package for $1.49. The yellow tablecloth cost me $2.50 and the 6 sage green napkin rings cost $2.99. We had brunch at this table after church today and this evening we’ll be eating dinner at the same table.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

Pink Saturday ~ Tease Revealed…

 

These are some items I bought at a local thrift store and I said I’d show you what they had originally been intended for.

The pretty cloth and the jewels are a shower curtain and shower curtain hooks. I don’t have a shower curtain rod in the bathroom at the condo so I had to try to get the hooks to hold up the curtain on the frame of the glass shower doors so I could show you their intended use.
