These are some items I bought at a local thrift store and I said I’d show you what they had originally been intended for.
The pretty cloth and the jewels are a shower curtain and shower curtain hooks. I don’t have a shower curtain rod in the bathroom at the condo so I had to try to get the hooks to hold up the curtain on the frame of the glass shower doors so I could show you their intended use. Now here is what I decided to use this shower curtain and jeweled hooks for…

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage unless I pay them a lot of money. I’m slowly cleaning up many posts from this time period and deleting their ugly grey and black boxes with a ransom request. Such a time consuming bother.
Oh my…gorgeous table!! Love the pink and green fabrics….

Happy Pink Saturday…have a great weekend!
What a nice touch of sparkle to add to your table!

well, now, that’s different.
kinda gives a whole new meaning to “shower chair” doesn’t it? is the person who sits at the head of your table the “shower head”??
I love re inventing a use for something. This is great!
Pink and green is such a lovely combination! And you are a very creative lady, Ellen 🙂

You are so creative. Your shower curtain and hooks turned into a beautiful table cloth with napkins and napkin rings. Beautiful and in good taste.
A lovely table, Ellen!
You’re a very clever thrift shopper – I wouldn’t even think of using a shower curtain as tablecloth but I will now of course.
Now what I really want to know – did you eat at this setting?? 🙂
Ellen, this is very clever repurposing for that shower curtain and rings! You did a great job here!

Ellen! You are the QUEEN of tablecloths. What a lovely and creative way to use the cloth and rings.
I thought of you when I was trying to get a much larger tablecloth to “fit” my dining table during Christmas time. I had bought the tablecloth years ago, but never used it because my dining table wasn’t sized for the tablecloth. But I was determined to use it because it truly is a beautiful one. In the course of many attempts, I thought to myself if you had lived any closer, I would have had you over to make things work for me.
That is awesome! I had a friend who used an old beat up quilt for a tablecloth at a Christmas tea. It was the most beautiful table! If you go to my site you can link to her… Midwest Magpies… you’ll have to scroll down to December. Anyway, I love seeing these things repurposed!
Blessings, Kim
I like the jeweled look and the pink and green go so well together. Very nice.
Clever clever! It looks so much better as a tablecloth!
Great use for the shower curtain, it looks great. Happy Pink Saturday.
