Pink Saturday ~ Tease Revealed…

These are some items I bought at a local thrift store and I said I’d show you what they had originally been intended for.

The pretty cloth and the jewels are a shower curtain and shower curtain hooks. I don’t have a shower curtain rod in the bathroom at the condo so I had to try to get the hooks to hold up the curtain on the frame of the glass shower doors so I could show you their intended use. Now here is what I decided to use this shower curtain and jeweled hooks for…

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage unless I pay them a lot of money. I’m slowly cleaning up many posts from this time period and deleting their ugly grey and black boxes with a ransom request. Such a time consuming bother.

  1. You’re a very clever thrift shopper – I wouldn’t even think of using a shower curtain as tablecloth but I will now of course.

Now what I really want to know – did you eat at this setting?? 🙂

  2. Happy Pink Saturday.. I love, love, love your mix of fabrics. What treasures you found! Your tablescape is gorgeous girl. You must share it again on Tuesday. 🙂 Have a super Pink Saturday my friend..

  3. I LOVE your table!!! You are such a Creative Wonderer, too!!!!! And to think you used your imagination and made such magnificent finery for your table with a thrift store shower curtain and rings!!! Your dishes and glasses are gorgeous!

What a fun Pink Saturday share! Hope you’re having a good one. Dana

  4. Ellen! You are the QUEEN of tablecloths. What a lovely and creative way to use the cloth and rings.

I thought of you when I was trying to get a much larger tablecloth to “fit” my dining table during Christmas time. I had bought the tablecloth years ago, but never used it because my dining table wasn’t sized for the tablecloth. But I was determined to use it because it truly is a beautiful one. In the course of many attempts, I thought to myself if you had lived any closer, I would have had you over to make things work for me.

  5. That is awesome! I had a friend who used an old beat up quilt for a tablecloth at a Christmas tea. It was the most beautiful table! If you go to my site you can link to her… Midwest Magpies… you’ll have to scroll down to December. Anyway, I love seeing these things repurposed!
    Blessings, Kim

  6. What a wonderful way to repurpose the shower curtain! Looks beautiful on your table. I forgot to let Beverly know about doing Pink Saturday, so I didn’t participate this time. Maybe next week. Happy Belated Pink Saturday!
