We don’t remember them with white on the tail feathers like this.
This young one was just improving it’s flying skills, just fresh from the nest.
If you squint you can see the little one on the branch to the left. It flew up into the trees in our front yard.
It’s been fun to watch the festivities of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee! We recorded it and are slowly making our way through.
In other news we have had to turn from heat to air conditioning the last couple of days and the Columbine is blooming beautifully!
Hope your first weekend in June is a good one.
…we have had some hot days, but have resisted turning the AC on.
Birds always remind me of Babuska Vera. She really loved them. The flowers are so stunning. Hopefully our weather will still be in sixties to the low seventies when you get here
Hello,
Love the cute robins, the young are adorable. Your flowers are beautiful, I love the Columbine. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend!
I wonder if your Robin has a touch of leucism? Those babies are so cute! We have a lot of robins around now. Love your columbines photos 🙂
I looked it up and I believe you are right about the leucism. It is a genetic condition!
That’s interesting, I’ll look it up.
Oh, those columbines are beauties indeed. Cute young robin!
I love watching the Robins. What fun to have a nest in your yard. We had a bird trying to nest in our garage but we had to chase it away as it wouldn’t have been able to take care of it’s babies if the garage door was closed. Lovely, colored Columbine. I only have the ordinary blue/purple ones. Still raining on this side of the mountains! Enjoy your sunshine!
Beautiful flowers.
It’s been nice and cool in my neck of the woods. In the 60’s today.
Always love seeing your birds. So different to ours. B x
Our air conditioning has been humming along this week. Summer is not my favorite season, but I have learned to enjoy the good that it brings, including the beautiful blooming and growing things! Happy first weekend of June to you too!
