1. What do you wish you’d done more of last year?
More meditating on God’s Word, the Bible. Remembering what the Lord has done for us.
Less of?
Less watching of mindless TV.
I like milk but milk doesn’t like me. I can enjoy it in moderation. Give me whole or 2% please. Our family favorite, Swedish Pancakes, calls for milk.
5. What excites you most about the future?
That the Lord will return to gather us up to be with Him.
Seeing our grandchildren grow.
What do you miss about the past?
Freedom to travel without masks and restrictions and having all the resources of travel available like open restaurants and attractions.

Speaking of watching our grandchildren grow. I will cherish all the moments like this one.

I had a very similar answer for whether or not I’m afraid of heights- it isn’t so much the height as the risk of falling. Precious picture with your grandchildren! I love reading books to little ones 🙂

I wonder if we will ever get back to feeling completely free (and everything completely open) in regards to travel. I do hope so! Don’t take a trip with my hubs. He loves the edge of high places. We call him the mountain goat.
Jo, We watched a mountain goat couple walk out on the edges during our time in the Badlands. So scary for me but they were so agile out there! Yikes.
I don’t like heights either! I want to spend more time in the Word of God this year too… so much to learn! I look forward to the return of Jesus too! So thankful for our Hope in Him! Sweet sweet picture of you reading to the grandbabies! Precious moments!

What a lovely post! I especially love the second photo. I’ve also been to the top of the Sears Tower. Many years ago. I’ve never thought about having one word for a year. I think I cannot limit myself.

I think a lot of us feel the way you feel for question #1. I lived in Chicago for 38 years of my life but never went up in the Sears Tower for some reason. Me too, I don’t want to be at the edge of a cliff. Yes, I am getting very frustrated with our freedoms!!! Grandchildren are just the best. I love the photo you shared. Enjoy!!

Fear of edges!! Yes!! All these years I wasn’t sure what it was, I’m not afraid of heights but going to the edge freaks me out. Looking over the side of anything high makes me so nervous, I get butterflies in my stomach… but I never put a name to it. Thank you! 🙂
