On Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, before Katie and Andrew hit the road for the west side of the mountains, we all had Dear’s Swedish pancakes for breakfast.
Jaymison was still waking up…
He’s my little guy…I love him so…
Laura got a photo of all the guys with their beards, for the record. Andrew plans to have his gone by Christmas.
Goodbyes to Andrew with the spooky eyes and Katie.
Addy loves her aunties and uncles!
Time for the super heroes!
Outside to expend some energy before lunch and our goodbyes to Josh and Laura.
Our daughter-in-laws. We are so thankful for the two of them and what great spouses they are to our sons. Our sons are two blessed men to have them as their helpmates.
Now that November is over we have been busy pulling out Christmas bins and getting our country bungalow looking a lot like Christmas. How about you? Have you started or finished your Christmas decorations?
I’m adding this post to Rose Chintz Cottage: No Place Like Home weekly event until December 21st.
Next week I’ll share some of our Christmas decorating.
Little ones add such joy to our lives, don’t they??!! You are blessed with a wonderful family.
Such wonderful family times 🙂 happy photos too. Enjoy your decorating. B x
…fun times!
Hello,
Looks like lots of fun times for you and your family. Cute photos of the kiddies. Take care, enjoy your day!
What a wonderful time you had with your family. Have a lovely Christmas month. FlowerLady
aren’t grandchildren the most wonderful gift of all?! there’s a whole lotta love at your place …
Hi! Guess there’s more than one way to do this. 😁 Phew! (Not that I am a great fan of Twitter either, but for now…)
It must be so hard to say goodbye, especially for the children, but soon they’ll be saying “Merry Christmas.”
Nothing going on here regarding Christmas decor. But perhaps the mood will strike one day. Happy decorating!
Yippee, I’m glad you have ways to out smart the systems!
What a splendid Thanksgiving weekend you all had! Making beautiful memories . . .
Christmas decorating has begun . . . but is not finished . . .
Family is everything! They are a gift from God and they are so precious! What a fun visit you must have all had. The little ones just make life so much sweeter and more fun. Thank you for sharing your sweet post at my party. Blessings!
Such good photos of family fun over there! Nice pic of your four men too. Andrew has changed the most over the years…longer hair, beard, different glasses.
I just can’t get over how big your grands are! Lovely to see everyone.
These photos bring a big smile to my face, thank you Ellen. So glad you had a wonderful time over Thanksgiving. You sure do have a sweet family.
Always enjoy photos of your happy family. 🙂
When I met Ken he had a beard and had it for years and years. When he shaved it off it was a complete surprise. We were doing a jigsaw puzzle and he left the room. When he came back I looked up and his beard was gone. It took me a while to get used to him with it!!
We were talking about the shock of shaving off a beard after many years, especially when it is all the little kids have known. 🙂
What sweet photos of your loved ones! I was also hoping to get an image of the Swedish pancakes. LOL.
Wonderful pics! How precious!
So nice to see such happy times with you and your family over Thanksgiving. What a blessing.
I’m bringing out our Christmas decorations this week. Our tree is now shining in the darkness.
Looks like you had such a wonderful time with your family Ellen! I can just feel the love you have for that wee boy! I marvel at how similar our grands are to mine … the ages, the love, the joy, everything! We are blessed. So lovely to see all those smiling faces. The decorating has sort of begun here, also the packing – ugh! Things will be scaled back considerably this Christmas.
Those little ones add a lot of joy and energy to our lives, don’t they? I love the happy faces as they run outside. Family time is so precious. Decorating was put on hold this past weekend because of the new grandbaby, but I hope to get to it this coming weekend.
