…is our traveling family?
My youngest brother and his family are having an RV adventure around the USA (Wholly-Rollin) for who knows how long. My sister Lana and her hubby Steve met up with them in South Dakota the 16th through the 19th of September and here are a couple photos I “borrowed” from them. Leonard, Mandy, Hope and Andrew will soon make it to our neck of the woods the beginning of October. Hope and Andrew are being RV schooled enjoying God’s amazing creations around the USA. They have just left the Yellowstone Area and the Grand Tetons heading to Montana.
Leonard and Lana, the babies of our family. They are twins. The Black Hills of South Dakota.
Meanwhile back in our neck of the woods, Jaymison and Addyson enjoying the beginning of Autumn.
Addy is enjoying a carrot fresh out of the garden and JJ is always pleased to be seated on any piece of machinery!
After I got the framework of the puzzle done and a lot of the interior done, Dear helped me finish up this Matryoshka Doll puzzle. He did leave the final pieces for me. It was a tough one but satisfying to see it completed. This is our 7th COVID-19 puzzle in the books!
Have you taken up puzzles lately? Do you grow carrots in your garden? Are you part of the RVing world? What’s the favorite place you’ve traveled to in the USA?
Did WordPress eat your pictures? All I see is text, though I can imagine. 😁
I hope not. I see them but that might just be them tricking me…
The satellite connection is not working good today…
Just as I imagined…even better! Perhaps it was my computer and not yours.
Beautiful family photo, your sister lana favors you, Ellen, I know you are looking forward to their visit. What better education than to see and experience it for real!
I used to do puzzles, haven’t lately, I had even thought of gluing and framing one our oldest grandson and I completed some years ago,it was a Thomas Kincaid, very pretty, we had so much fun, he and I would stay up past midnight working together.
Thanks for sharing, btw those two grandchildren are precious.
Blessings,
Sue
Hi Sue, fun memories. It’s hard to quit when you get going on a puzzle. Hope you have a great weekend.
Amazing family adventure
Great adventure to be traveling around seeing America. We did that in 1993! It was wonderful!!
Karen, That had to be wonderful!
…that puzzle would drive me crazy!!!
Tom, I’m recovering. 🙂
Hello,
I would love to be traveling around the country on a road trip. The National Parks are great places to visit. Your family is having fun. Love the kiddies, the carrot must be delicious. Great photos! Take care, enjoy your weekend!
Hi Eileen, I hope to be able to enjoy more of our National Parks! Thanks for visiting.
Your family seems to have the right idea about how to spend their time during an pandemic. I love that they feel the freedom to travel. We do as well and are looking forward to hitting the road next week for most of the month of October. We spend our cold, winter Christmas days with our son in Northern Indiana, and working puzzles is our favorite pass time, but yours looks like a doozy!
Hi Libby, Your October sounds fabulous. Glad you are getting on the road! Enjoy and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I just had to pop over to say how blessed I was watching the Prayer March today!
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great weekend.
Sue
Sue, it was so good to see so many people peacefully gathered!!
What a fantastic education those kids are getting! I so wish we could be RVing in your country these days but have discovered some great spots here in Ontario. I think our favourite place that we’ve travelled/RV’d to in the US is Maine (Bar Harbor and area). It’s really starting to feel like fall here and our RV has been winterized and stored for now. Puzzling usually happens here during Christmas holidays – haven’t done one for a few years though. Carrots don’t do very well in our garden (soil?) but it looks like Addy is enjoying one! Our Sully loves to be seated on machinery also – smile!
I’m looking forward to hearing from the kids what they’ve enjoyed most so far. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment Rosella!
What fun to travel the US in an RV and great that your family will be calling by very soon. Looks like you are having a great time with you grand children, gorgeous as ever. No puzzles her recently but they may appear later in the year. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. B x
Barbara, it really is a once in a lifetime experience that will teach them a lot of things. Thanks for stopping by!
