Come Lord Jesus, Come…

We wait with expectation in this season of Advent.

I was happy to put all the Fall decor away. Today I pulled out all the Christmas bins and am starting slowly to put things up here and there. The Christmas Carol music is on the piano.

Addy loves to help whenever and wherever she can.

On Sunday the guys offered to watch Addy and JJ while the girls got in a couple hours of Christmas shopping without them tagging along. When we came out of North40 snow had begun to fall.

JJ survived well without his mommy close by and even had a wee nap.

We said our goodbyes to Josh and Laura and then Addy and JJ went home for their afternoon naps.

Have you started decorating for Christmas? Are you sending cards this year?

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Addy and JJ are growing so fast. Always enjoy seeing your photos of your happy family.
No, haven’t done a thing for Christmas yet. I send out some cards but not like I used too.

  2. Darling children photos as always here, Ellen. We’ve been decorating this week in earnest. Tree light issues have slowed the process, but it is now done. Now I hope to address a few cards and focus on quiet moments of reflection of the birth of our Lord and Savior.

  3. I am sure that Addy and JJ did not lack for attention with the doting grandfather/father/uncles in charge! Sweetness!

I finished my Christmas decorating this week. It seemed to take us (Bekah helped me) forever . . . not because there is so much, but because we’re a slow pair. 🙂

  4. Whoever mans the camera there does a wonderful job of capturing stories. Now, snooping again, I want to know what the Addy and Uncle Josh story is in the last one.
