Since we are on the letter B for ABC Wednesday I’ll share the photos from our latest B & B experience (last Wednesday night) in Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington. B is for Bed and Breakfast!
The Five SeaSuns Bed and Breakfast…
The gardens on the property were lush and pretty.
Breakfast was delicious with some good conversations with the other guests.
Do you prefer to stay in a hotel or a bed and breakfast establishment when you travel?
We cooled down somewhat today and for that I am thankful. I’m a heat wimp!
We’ve never stayed in a B & B before but like the idea. Your B & B was lovely and the food , wow !
B&B’s are fun if affordable..
Yummy food! We always stay in hotels.
I love to eat at B&Bs…not sure that I prefer them for staying overnight. Everything at that B&B looks wonderful.
Your B&B looks charming!!
B&B or hotel? It depends on the availability, whether we’re lingering or just passing through, and the price. We just made a reservation at a B&B for later this summer. 🙂
Beautiful place to stay, and that breakfast looks delicious!
Fellow heat wimp here too:) This post made me SO hungry for breakfast. Sadly I decided not to buy any eggs today (thinking that was a bad decision right now). I’ve stayed at a Norwegian B + B in Leavenworth a long time ago, but normally we stay at hotels/motels if we’re somewhere overnight.
Blessings,
Aimee
A great choice for this weeks entry, wonderful pictures too. I’ve never been in one but maybe someday. Whenever you go to one again, i wish you lots of fun!
Thank you Ellen !
Have a nice day,

Any time I’ve stayed at a B&B, I’ve enjoyed it immensely. this looks so lovely – the garden especially. Thanks for sharing and have a great week.

What a wonderful house and the breakfast looked delicious.
The UK is renown for it’s B+B’s and of course The Big English Breakfast,
which would usually consist of bacon and eggs, black pudding, pork sausages,
mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, toast and coffee or tea
We had breakfast in America when we motored down from Atlanta in Georgia
to Disneyland in Orlando…
I recall that we stopped at a diner amidst the cotton fields, that line the highway.
it looked like a 50’s diner complete with
old guys dressed in denim bib n brace trousers and all wore leather Stetson’s.
I’m sure I didn’t imagine it, as we were all rather ‘jet lagged’!
It was surreal!
I remember dining on Steak and Eggs, Corn on the Cob and griddled tomatoes
and grits….not sure what grits were but they tasted quite good!,
It was delicious, we had literally tumbled of the plane into an hotel room, so absolutely
starving!
best wishes,
Di,
ABCW team.
t which would consist of Bacon, fried eggs, sausag
What a lovely bed and breakfast! In our many travels we preferred that, instead of a hotel, because you get more worth for your money:) That breakfast looks scrumptious!
looks like a nifty locale!

Looks like a relaxing locale.
My ABC WEDNESDAY
I like B&B’s.The ones we visited were great, especially for meeting other people. Yours looks exceptionally wonderful with the breakfast that looks like a piece of art.

I think B&B’s are great – we spent a week in one in York and it was a fine experience. Love Port Angeles – have family there…
P.S. love the Bee Balm in your header…
You visit so many wonderful places, Ellen! The breakfast at this B&B looks superb!
We had good experiences staying at B&Bs when we took a cross country car trip last summer…great B subject♪
What a lovely setting. We’ve never tried a B & B..maybe one day soon.
B&B is my choice every time. I especially like it when we can have a space on its own with a little patio. Home away from home. That breakfast looks so yummy.
