Beach Fences…

I was in Southern California last week. My sister lives a few blocks from Huntington Beach. On our way back to her house from our walk on the promenade I captured these shots of some waves through the fence while we waited for the light to change so we could cross PCH. (Pacific Coast Highway)

I’m not a fan of sitting on the beach but I do enjoy walking along the shore.

Winter is my favorite time to enjoy California Beaches.

I’m linking up to Good Fences #45 with TexWisGirl at Run*A*Round Ranch.

It’s great to travel but I think I picked up a bug on the airplane and I’m a little under the weather. I hope it stays at the “little” stage and doesn’t go into anything full blown. How are you feeling?

  1. O, what a fabulous photos of those waves…just beautiful.
Sure sorry you aren’t feeling very well…hope it passes soon. If it doesn’t, I just may have to send you a cookie…:)

  2. If you can listen to these waves it may make you feel better. I sure get a good fix when I do! I wish I could more often! Oh yeah, another good reason for youtube… whatever we want it’s only a click away!

  3. That is one of our favorite things to do on the Oregon coast , especially in the winter. Even better, sipping hot coffee or tea INDOORS while we watch the storms over the ocean.
    Love the pictures.

  4. These photos look lovely Ellen. The waves are so pretty and I think it would be wonderful to walk along a beach in warm weather! I often get sick when traveling by plane and end up sick at our destination. I hope you feel better soon. Blessings. Pam
