My mom was set free from the Care Center on Saturday and settled back into her little nest with Pop. They are both so happy that she is back home. Pop lowered their bed so she can get in and out more easily. He’s doing the cooking these days and family members are bringing in food, too. When I called them on Saturday night you could here the lightness in their voices of being together in their little apartment again. God is good.

I’m so happy for your parents that they are together again in their cozy nest. I’m sure that your father is a very capable cook and that your mother is delighted with his attention. How fun to have meals brought in, too. A great blessing.

We plan to camp with Mama Mia and fam. The last hurrah…
I spoke w/kids Sat. and they said Baba was going home. What a blessing! I pray she continues to heal and regain her strength……just being w/your dad should help 🙂
So glad your parents are re-united! Love that nest picture. Probably work for me as we are taking “Labor Day” a bit early this week. We want to avoid the big crowds — so, tomorrow we are heading to DC to the DAR museum, yay! 🙂

Plans for the long weekend – not much. But we just returned from vacation so we’ll likely end up doing some yard work on Monday. On Saturday my husband is climbing a mountain with our son and son-in-law.
I’ve been catching up on posts – loved the restraint post and hope you’re doing well with that. I need a little restraint myself after vacation.
