Warning Posted: Photo Overload!
It’s time to head over to Susan’s at A Southern DayDreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. All my photos were taken at Emma Wood State Beach in the wee morning hours this past Saturday.
Aren’t digital cameras great! I was just thinking about how we used to have to load a roll of film after every 24/36 photos and we never knew if the photos were good till after we had the film processed! I am so thankful for digital photography!!
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Oh Ellen….soaking it in
Beautiful! I wish I could be at the beach more often…I miss it.
Amen and Amen!
Beautiful
Great photos! Thanks for sharing with us.
Those photos are just gorgeous…makes me feel like I’m at the beach..I love the way you took the wave pictures..almost seems you can hear the waves curling and crashing on the beach! Great post! Miss Bloomers
Beautiful, Ellen, and are you sure you do not want to go 80 mph on an ice boat??
And yes, prayers for those poor people..

Gorgeous photos! Could almost hear the surf and smell the salty air!
Simply stunning, Ellen!
I can envision these photos enlarged, with simple black frames and double white matting (well, off-white perhaps). Wonderful post! Thank you for sharing these calming images.

hmmm, well, didn’t you see any waves when you were at the beach??
What a glorious series of photos! Love the pelican skimming the water, beautiful shot. Loved my virtual trip to the beach. Yes, digital photography is a winner in my book too!

Yes I love the digiital age of photography too. Remember further back in time when we had to use flash bulbs? Yuk!
Your pictures warm me up a a bit, Ellen. Thanks.
What a coincidence! I posted photos of my family camping at Hobson Park in the 60s today for Outdoor Wednesday. I have such fond memories of Hobson, Faria and Emma Woods, thanks for sharing these today. For me, there is nothing like the Pacific Coast for beach camping.
Oh my those are beautiful waves pattern, my eyes got full heeheheh. Thanks.

Glorious! I can hear the waves crashing onto the beach. Really, I can…your photos are that good. 🙂
Wonderful photos! The Pacific waves are so strong! Perfect for surfing1 We usually see waves like that here on the Atlantic coast only when a large boat goes by or if there is a storm. Happy OW!
Oh, it’s been too long since I’ve been to the beach. Your photos make me long for the sound of crashing waves.
Looooove your pictures. And I agree, digital photography is awesome.
Wow … I feel like I took that walk with you … what BEAUTIFUL photos. I love, love, love the low flying pelican looking for a meal 😉
Hugs and blessings,
