Friday’s Fave 5 ~

1. Breakfast at Julienne with some of my family on Saturday morning. I had poached eggs on a Parmesan crusted potato thingie (potato cake)  with guacamole and Pico de Gallo. Yummy!

2. A walk at dawn at the beach with Dear.

3. Seeing Photos and hearing about my kids and their cousins time at a cousin’s reunion they planned.

4. Walking most days with Willow and dropping a few of many pounds that need to come off! We saw 10 deer on Thursday that’s about how many more pounds I want to drop by U.S.A. Thanksgiving!

5. Having things quiet down with our loud neighbor who we suspect is on Meth… The photo shows the boyfriend’s clothes that she threw out from the railing above our garage when he walked out on her. I took a broom and moved them over to the front of her garage after I took this photo :0)

Photobucket is holding my photos hostage from 2007-2015 and replacing them with an ugly black and grey squares demanding money to release them, so frustrating.

  1. People actually throw clothes over railings? I thought that was only in tv commercials! How bad is that behavior?

Your breakfast sounds amazing! Neat photos, and a great idea Fav. 5 is!

  2. Thanks for the peek into your life, Ellen. Don’t you love seeing your kids as young adults and how they treasure family? that’s such a blessing.

  3. Mmmm – your breakfast sounds yummy. Actually, I think I am going to have poached eggs for breakfast today… 😉 A friend taught me to boil water in a shallow pan and add 1 tbs vinegar. Then, crack the egg open and place in a slotted spoon for the poaching effect. I think I am going to try it out today! 🙂

I am happy to know that things quieted down above you.

    Love the deer too!

You have had a lovely week with Dear and deer, haven’t you?! 🙂

  4. Ooooh, I want your breakfast! That sounds wonderful! Family reunions always sound so fascinating and fun to me because we don’t have them. All our family is here.

  5. It sounds like you live in a neighborhood that provides some sad entertainment. . .(love that you used a broom. . sounds like something I would do). .
Oh . . the picture of the cousins is my favorite . .oh. .and the breakfast sounds delicous.

  6. I need to get started walking. Wow, that is a lot of deer! I have seen three at a time but never that many.

It’s so frustrating when there are neighbor problems. I am glad things are quiet for the moment.

  7. Wonderful fav 5’s for friday and good for your neighbor! Hope fully she’ll change the locks and get a restraining order. Let’s just pray she has the strength!

  8. The first four just make me sigh, Ellen. But oh my word, number five makes me cringe!

How awful! I mean, I guess I can see that you considered it good that she threw him out, but my worst nightmare is discovering that ANYONE in my neighborhood is into meth. And it could happen. I’ve heard that Grand Junction, Colorado, where I live, has a huge meth problem.

I can see where it made your week better that things quieted down over there. But it’s sad, isn’t it? that with all the problems we have going on in the world, people would choose this kind of a life.

I love your list, though….especially the deer. Oh! And that amazing breakfast! 🙂

  9. The breakfast sounds yummy….
I thought people only threw clothes over railings in the movies! LOL
    and seeing Deer….how awesome…..

would love a walk on your beach!
    enjoy the weekend
