A stained glass window at St. Mary’s church in Painswick, Gloucestire, England. This church is known for its 99 Yew trees.
This is St. Mary’s with some of the Yew trees…

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and they have blacked them all out. I’m slowly working at restoring my posts without their help. Such a tiresome bother!
So very beautiful and amazing!! happy PH and happy weekend 🙂
Shooting stained glass is often hard for me. This is a beautiful shot. And you remind me that I can dig up old photos instead of trying to shoot something new to match the theme!
Simply breathtaking! Beautiful!
What a beautiful light through these wonderful windows! And a great choice for the glass theme.
Happy Weekend

i have a different take of the theme here 😉
I’m so happy to see some stained glass for the “glass” theme this week. I visited a church in France with some amazing stained glass windows but of course it was a long long time ago – long before digital photos.
Thanks for the second photo of the church and the trees.
Not too sure what’s so great about these photo’s.
Both of them seem fairly mediocre to me – the top one verging on poor.
Peter, Yes they aren’t professional photographs and I’m not a professional photographer like yourself…
Photohunters does attract some great photographers but a lot of us are just amateurs having fun.
Lovely stained glass.
WHat a beautiful window and a typically lovely English church. Happy weekend
that may be the best stained glass of the week
