Our Easter preparations are on their way.
Katie colors the eggs each year.
I decorate the show piece of our food celebration, the Kulich (Russian Easter Bread). I did say decorate. I didn’t say I baked it. That is still on my list to do before I die.
We will celebrate all day tomorrow with friends, family, food, hallelujahs and hosannas to our Resurrected King.
Blessings on all your preparations and celebrations…
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage. I’m working on updating my blog posts very slowly.
That is so beautiful!!! I am dropping by to wish you and yours a very pleasant, peaceful and serene Easter Holiday.
Observations!
1. Katie is in a robe.
2. Love the decorating cups!
3. Lovely eggs and Kulich.
4. Ummm. If you didn’t bake it, where did you get it and why don’t I have one? HMMM?
See you tomorrow! 🙂
How beautiful! I came over here for the Spring Reading Thing, and had to comment on the title of your blog. When my daughter was 4, she had a sort of imaginary alter-ego super hero called Puppy Wonder. I asked if it was because he was “wonderful” and she said no it was because “he is always wandering around,” so we figured out he was actually Puppy Wander. HA!
I made Kulich last year and it did not rise! I think I may have had my water too warm when I added it to the yeast, but I’ve made plenty of bread and never did THAT before. So where did you get Kulich to decorate?
Nancy
What a beautiful table! The eggs, lilies and kulich make it so colorful and cheerful.
Yeah, like Lana, I’ve gotta ask you where you got the kulich and why doesn’t she have one!?
Have a wonderful Resurrection Day!
