WW ~ First Visit

I’m adding some words this week. These are my parents at their first meeting with their new miracle granddaughter. Their last granddaughter (our Katie) was born 22 years ago. Their youngest grandson is 16 years old. This granddaughter, our niece was born in January to my brother and his wife, who are both in their 40’s. It is their first baby. We are thrilled with this latest addition to our family and you can see how thrilled my parents are to finally meet her face to face! Dear and I get to go meet her in May! Praise God from whom all blessings flow…

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage. I’m working on updating my blog posts very slowly.

  1. That’s a moment to be remembered forever. The meeting of grandchild and grandparents for the first time 🙂

I can imagine your thrills of your family’s newest member. Sometime 6 months ago, my brother in law’s first child was born, he too is in his mid 40s. The happiness shown on my mother in law’s first was priceless 🙂

  2. A great meeting! Mrs. Jim and I had Karen when I was 40. Having children at an older age per my experience tends to get the parents more involved than the young ones generally are. I have lived both of those lives!

Happy WW! Thanks for the visit, that building has been yellow for all nine years I have known it.

  3. What a sweet shot of grandparents and a sweet little angel. I hope I’d see the same happiness on the faces of my parents and in-laws once I get to bring this child out into this world a few months from now. Thanks for sharing this Ellen. Good day!
