1. What’s something you think is under appreciated. Explain.
The work that policemen have to do dealing with people who are mentally ill, drug addicts, and other people who have no respect for their authority is under appreciated. Policemen are important in restraining evil, for the health of our country and the safety of our citizens. I appreciate our Border Patrol Agents in the same way.
2. As winter approaches how do you stay productive?
It helps me to stay on top of things if I have company coming. Winter does make things harder when the snow and ice appear. Keeping my lists and ticking off the items is a good motivation for me.
3. What’s a popular food you don’t like?
Sushi
4. What do you think is more interesting-art or history? Elaborate.
Seeing works of art in an amazing historical cathedral is very satisfying to all my senses.
I find history in art very interesting. It’s enjoyable to connect some historical facts to the places we travel to. Art is more interesting when I know something about the artist. Modern art has no appeal to me.
Children’s story illustrations/artwork are a favorite of mine, too.
5. What advice would you give to someone half your age?
Don’t put off traveling. Plan the trip and go!

Speaking of being productive in the winter, this two have a way of getting me moving…
We had our first sign of some snow in these parts. Addy also lost another tooth!

I actually look forward to being slightly unmotivated in the winter. After the busyness of the holidays, I don’t mind a little down time. Your little “motivators” are the best!
No sushi for me either. And I, too, enjoy art and history that are related.
I’ve never seen a police/taxi vehicle before! I didn’t think of sushi . . .but that would be on my list, too. My hubby and kids LOVE sushi. Look at that snow! Wow!
I like sushi but we don’t have it often. I don’t buy it at the grocery store but we have a couple of really nice sushi restaurants that I enjoy. I like art in the context of history as well. I appreciate our police officers so much. It’s an especially tough job in today’s world. Hope you have a great day!

That is a cute picture of your grandkids. I like the California roll, but I do no like raw fish. Policemen have to deal with so much like fireman. They are taken for granted. I was able to go to St Johns Cathedral in New York and it was beautiful. I am going on a Mexican Riviera cruise in January and will check out the mission and cathedrals there.
I definitely appreciate the work of law enforcement, but I agree that they often don’t get the appreciation and recognition they deserve. Love the photos in your post today! Hope you’re having a great week!
Excellent answer for #1. Yes, snow and ice do not make things easy. Yep, sushi is not for me but James loves it. I love seeing art in museums. That is good advice about traveling. That’s a cute photo of the kids. James just started losing teeth.
We who live in the south tend to forget that winter can come early in other parts of the country. While I’m excited to have temps in the 70s this time of year, I look forward to being in the upper mid-west in December when it’s much colder. Sushi is one of our son’s most favorite foods, so we can look forward to dining on that at least once while we’re in Indiana. I’ve learned to appreciate good sushi.
