This mama deer comes to forage in our yard but leaves her fawn in a neighboring area to our property.
Our state bird has paid us some visits, too.

Mama Deer comes back a few times a day to nibble on all the pretty stuff and some weeds, too.

We had a surprise visitor today who was running back and forth next to our slider and seemed to want to come in an pay us a visit. This was the first time we have seen this critter in our parts, a long tailed weasel!!

Since this critter eats mice and chipmunks we wish it well!
I’ll be missing in action for a few days. I’ll catch up when I can. Have a great last weekend in June!

Hello,
Great variety of critter visitors. I love the deer, the fawn is adorable. Great capture of the Goldfinch. The Long-tailed weasel is new to me, it is cute. Yes, I they can eat all the mice they want. Take care, have a happy day and a great weekend!
Any critter that keeps the mouse population down is a favorite. 🙂
…recently we have had a fox family, I hope that our rabbit population goes down.
That would be a fun sight to see, Tom. Our kids rabbit population went down after they saw a bobcat in the neighborhood.
The weasel! 😍 He’s so cute! Your deer shot from the window made me think of this https://youtu.be/W7LBfF_ND9Q?si=xBlBFz7TDGgiCMKU
😂 😂 😂
Hahaha! That’s hilarious, Katy!
Thats quite a variety of wildlife in your garden. At the moment all I see is a rat, and hopefully he will be exterminated soon!
Wild rats are creepy, Barbara. Hopefully you’ll be rid of it soon!
Thank you for sharing the picture of the weasel. That’s the first time I have ever seen a live one . Normally, the ones I see are pictures in books or magazines. Have a great weekend, Friend.
Dianna, it was a first for us, too. Thank you for your visit.
What a treasure to have such visitors. 😊
Sandi, we do appreciate our visitors. 🙂

Thank you, Debby!
I love when the deer pay us a visit with their little ones.
Good that the weasels eat mice and chipmunks. I didn’t know they ate that.
Enjoy your weekend.
We were surprised about what weasels eat but pleased. Thank you, Karen.
Hello Ellen, you have a beautiful garden and deck, and some really delightful visitors. Though I would not welcome the long tailed weasel inside my home, I really enjoyed seeing him. Have a wonderful rest of the month and happy travels!
Haha, Denise, we would not invite one into our home either. Thank you for your visit. Happy days to you!
Interesting visitors indeed! I am not surprised that the deer loves you yard – it’s so very pretty. The weasel really wanted to come in it appears. Have a wonderful weekend.
Amazing to see the wild creatures that come into your property.
Oh is that a weasel? I’ve never seen any in our parts.
