Happy to see these end of summer photos.
It’s been a couple days since these photos were taken and our blue skies have been obscured by smoke. A few fires have erupted in our county and neighboring counties that have affected the air quality. Local restaurants are feeding the fire fighters and there is an Incident Command Center at the junior high parking lot next to our church.
So an early morning walk and watering are in order and then work inside where we will stay cool.
No big plans for Labor Day Weekend for us, how about for you? One last hoorah?
Oh I hope those fires don’t get too bad. Lovely to see your grandchildren with their puppy. We’ve already had our last summer bank holiday and children are back to school on Tuesday. Definitely all change around here. B x
Hello,
The grands and new puppy are cute. I hope the fires are out soon. Happy weekend! Take care, have a happy day!
…the evenings are chilly here, it’s nice to sleep under the covers.
The northwest has had more than its share of heat and fire. Hopefully, fall will bring better days.
Plans for Labor Day are fluid. I did enjoy a last hurrah Wednesday so that was good.
Wildfires…I sure do hate to see that happening in your corner or any corner. Praying with you that it will be contained soon and that firefighters will remain safe.
Love,
Vee
Our horizons look dirty with smoke (and very colourful in the sunset). I hope the wildfires are soon contained. I am enjoying the last days of summer and am in no hurry to see them disappear.
Those of us here in the Midwest sit anxiously watching the news about the wildfires on the west coast and the NW. So scary! I hope the flames are soon doused and that everyone is safe.
No last hurrah here. It’s forecasted to be scorching hot and humid this weekend. I will be sitting on top of the AC inside!
Sorry to hear about fires!!
Oh I do love the puppy!!
No plans here, just a regular day here in our lovely woods.
