This is a new to us bird that is a mystery. Maybe some of my blog friends who know birds can enlighten us on what kind of bird this is. We call it our white bird.
We arrived safely at our kids’ home on the westside of the Cascades on Friday. It rained on us for all but 10 miles of our 375 miles.
Hello,
Happy Mother’s Day weekend!
Pretty photos. It is a hard bird for me to id, it looks like a Flycatcher or Phoebe?
Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend.
…I haven’t a clue.
The little tuft makes me think it’s a juvenile. Maybe a tufted titmouse.
Glad you’ve made it through the rain!
Looks like a Western Wood Pee Wee

My search engine is Google and it allows you to search for similar pictures. I left clicked on one of your photos and selected “Search Image with Google Lens” on the pop-up list. It brought up pictures of birds that look very much like yours and they were Phoebes. I hope this helps. 🙂
Hi Mary, I think a Phoebe might be the closest to this one that I’ve seen, too. Thank for your search and info!
I don’t know what kind of bird it is but I’m off now to look up those suggestions others left.
Ellen, Harv has a free phone app (not desktop) called Merlin where you can upload a picture of a bird and it will identify it for you. Give that a try.
Beautiful bird. Happy Mother’s Day. Xoxo.
Thanks everyone. It ‘s been fun looking at all the images of the birds you mentioned!
