We have moved further east on our ‘Land That We Love Tour‘. We took a back road out of Helena to get back to the I-90 interstate east to Wyoming.
This little church was in Montana.
Fall colors were pretty off the interstate as we approached our Wyoming destination.
We arrived in Sheridan for the night and right away Dear was in trouble.
Better put your hands up, Dear!
On our travels on Wednesday we listened to some more sermons in 1 Peter and some good music and also enjoyed periods of silence except for the tires on the pavement. We are pondering the attributes of God and these verses.
Isaiah 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Wonderful photos from your trip. I the scenery around Wyoming and Montana.
Take care, have a great day!
Ellen, love your choice of scripture. We are studying Isaiah 55 in my bible study class. So grateful to know we serve a God who sees the big picture!
I adore your photo of the church in Montana. I have a thing for little white church buildings.
Praying for safe travels.

Hi Donna!
Thank you for documenting your journey. Yes, the colors are beautiful. Yellow and blue is such a nice combination.
…the church is sweet.
Just caught up on your post cards! You’re such a good blogger, Ellen, keeping up with photos and informative details as you travel. I am impressed!
Blessings on your continued travels!
Thank you, Cheryl.
Such pretty pictures along your trip.
Love the church!
Hi Ellen,
These are terrific postcards!! I love this little church — a really pretty example of carpenter gothic style. The fall colors in Wyoming are so different from here in the east. I love your idea of a “Land That We Love” tour; perhaps Hal and I could do that when he retires. Safe travels to you both!

I love those old fashioned country churches. Built many years ago by people of great faith.
