So happy to report that with the help of our son, Dan, the siding on the front of the shop was completed this past Saturday and Sunday. Now all that is left of the siding is the back end.
When he wasn’t helping his dad Dan was taking his kids on a little snow hike.
This next photo is of a snow hike they took at the end of January 2020.
What a difference a year makes. Jaymison can ride in the sled now!
Earlier last week Dan had some helpers in putting up the Christmas lights.
Our temps have been below freezing for several days in a row which makes these outdoor projects a challenge. We are supposed to have a round of snow blow in tomorrow. I have a luncheon to attend and I’ll have to take the roads slow and steady. Thankful for good snow tires and all wheel drive!
Love that your family is enjoying the winter weather and also getting projects done! Sometimes we just have to “bite the bullet” and keep going, regardless of the weather. Of course, easy for me to say, sitting here in sunny, warm, Florida. But I’ve lived up north too in New England, Ohio, and Michigan, so I’ve seen my share of wintry weather, (and that’s why we came back “home” to Florida) but I have a great appreciation for driving in the snow to get places…Be careful and have a wonderful time and a marvelous Christmas. Your grandbabies are so sweet. You are blessed to have them near you!!
Pamela, it truly is a sweet blessing to have them close…
Hello,
The new shop is looking great. I am sure the kiddies are having fun playing in the snow and helping with the decorating. Cute photos. Have a happy day and a great week ahead.
…bundle up and stay warm y’all.
I love your pictures. They really have grown a lot in a year’s time. Life is just so fast it seems.
Your shop is finished, great. The kids are having fun, so nice.
Aren’t kids great? I love seeing kids helping parents out which is testimony to how well they were raised. And your son is passing the tradition along to his little helpers!
Look at those little helpers! So cute. Looks like things have really come along. Be careful on those icy roads.
I find if you are dressed for the weather it is nice to get outside!!
Nice to see the little ones helping.
We are supposed to get a bunch more snow tomorrow too. We shall see.
Your grands are darling little helpers. Your son has a lot of patience to allow them to handle the strings of lights. The shop is really looking good. Be careful driving on the snowy lanes.
Your guys have accomplished so much on the shop! They’re on the home stretch now! It looks great and I know it will be put to good use.
What a lot of growing those grands have done in a year! I admire how their parents have them out in all kinds of weather as they teach them to be active and to be good workers!
The shop is coming right along and what good helpers there are on the project.
It’s good to see there’s been more progress on the shop. Is it a workshop or a retail shop? What a lot of snow! All the best when driving out and about.
Linda, it’s a personal work shop. Thank you for stopping by.
