Spring Views on Highway 2

All of these scenes from the road were in Lincoln County. Right after the little town of Almira we moved into Grant County for a few miles.

Any Father’s Day weekend plans? We still haven’t nailed it down here. We are having some warm weather with humidity, just in time for the official start of summer. Still thankful for our air conditioning. Summer Solstice is at 5:44 PM EDT.

  1. I just realized that tomorrow is Father’s Day. That’s how far out of the loop I am. Hope that you nail down some fun for those special dads in your life. (I usually leave the celebrating to the nuclear family. They seem to like that best. Might send an E-card, though.) Do most states have a Lincoln county? Mine does!

  2. Beautiful views, Ellen!

We are surprising my hubby with homemade cards, a cake, and a new birdfeeder/fancy seeds. Not extravagant, but good. 😊

  3. Beautiful countryside shots – love the fence ones! If you were driving through the countryside here you might pass by the town Elmira with an E! Father’s day brunch is in the plans here – the kids are coming, the kids are coming – for the second time already. Can you see my smile?

  4. Beautiful countryside. My favorite is the second fence one.
No plans here for Father’s Day but I’m sure David will call and wish Ken a happy one. 🙂
