So we are soon entering Thanksgiving week here in the U.S. Lot’s of T’s associated with a Traditional Thanksgiving meal with Turkey and trimmings. We had an early Thanksgiving with family back in October and this time around we will have a small gathering and try a deep fried turkey on Friday since our son has to work on Thanksgiving. I have a fresh turkey ordered to pick up on Wednesday. No out of town guests are coming this year. What are your plans? Are you cooking or are you invited out?
Thank you Tom for hosting and travelling to show us so many cool sites!
…Ellen, you sure setting a nice ‘T’able. We have some ‘T’all ‘T’rees here, but they look like saplings compared to yours. Neat ‘T’ree ‘T’opper! I hope that you and your family have a ‘T’remendous ‘T’hanksgiving!
A great “T” roundup! Have a wonderful weekend with your “T”hanksgiving preparations. The first time in your country bungalow!
T is a great letter for this weekend before Thanksgiving! Be sure to let us know how you liked your deep fried turkey. It sounds delicious!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Ellen. We do not celebrate tht in the Uk and it is a pity. Love your table settings ad all the tall trees. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Ellen, I like it. You have made a pretty table setting, set for eight. We bum around for Thanksgiving now that we are empty nesters. Generally we end up with relatives someplace. Once it was with a Granddaughter and her boyfriend at a Luby’s Cafeteria. This time it will be with her sister’s family and all of our clan invited. But only about half will be able to come. The first sister and her husband who are now living in Alaska will be there. It will be our side of her family in main, we have five adult children, six grandkids, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Your trees are pretty, I miss them here. When we lived north of Houston about 35 miles it was common to see eagles in various trees, they like to be high. It was wonderful to see from our back porch them and the hawks sailing in with the wind currents and drafts. Here, west of town, we have mostly doves mocking birds.
I hope you and your family have a nice Thanksgiving weekend.
