On our way home from a short road trip up to La Conner for lunch we took some back roads to the interstate. This is one of the barns we saw in Skagit County. And then we saw some fall friends just hanging out.
The fall colors are showing nicely here and there.
Ugh…my lower back has decided to go on strike and keep me from too much activity. Didn’t get to church this morning. Hoping to get some good relief soon. Hope y’all are doing well.
Linking up to the Barn Collective with Tom The Backroads Traveller. Thanks Tom!

…a red barn and a John Deere, life is good! Now if your back will cooperate, life will be GREAT! Our fall color is so dull because of our warm dry weather. Take care and I hope to see you around again.
beautiful. love your header image.
Have you tried either Bio-Freeze or Tiger Balm for your back? Bio-Freeze used to be prescription only but no longer and Tiger Balm comes in rub or patches. The rub is red, for big pain, or green for not so big pain…as the elderly Chinese woman told me. lol
Thanks for the tip. I’ll check the store for these products. Now to figure out if it’s big pain or not so big pain! π
You can always go to red if you start at green but the reverse isn’t so good. -laughing-
Bee-yoo-tee-ful!!!!!!!!!! Why do we like barns so much? Theyβre just so cool! Amazing color to the trees there already! It will be awhile here still. SO sorry your back is griping. Mine, too. I just hate this crazy spine of mine. Maybe someday…..
I like your friends fishing from the bridge!
Hope you are feeling better soon. I am thinking of seeing a physical therapist for my aching back
Great shot with the red barn and John Deere!
Hope you do find relief – and fast- for your back ache.
Have a good week!
So sorry about your back pain. Thank you for sharing these awesome pictures……so pretty. God bless you.
Hello, I love the barn and tractor shot. The scarecrows are cute. Beautiful Autumn trees, they look so colorful. Lovely series! Happy Monday and enjoy your new week ahead.
I’m sorry to hear about the back pain and hope you can take a rest this week and you experience some improvement. Lovely shots of the barn, the autumn leaves and the sweet family of scarecrows sitting on the bridge.
Oh, dear Ellen, I do hope your back recovers. it is so hard to be sidelined. I love all of the fall colors you shared.
Lovely barn and beautiful fall scenes! Great post! So sorry about your back…I have suffered with mine a lot, and recently a great few weeks in physical therapy helped me more than I believed possible! I have some awesome exercises that I do every day now that keeps most of the pain at bay. Hope you can get some similar help!
Beautiful scenery, these are beautiful, our leaves are slow about changes! The barn scene is so lovely, hope your back is feeling better today!
Blessings,
Sue
Boo hiss on back pain! Hope that you have one of those nice, soft, gel bags for βicingβ it. A recliner is almost a necessity. Yay for beautiful photos of barns. They all have a personality of their own.
