Barn Collective

All these barns were situated along Highway 395 between Spokane and Colville.

Linking up with Tom for The Barn Collective. Thanks Tom.

Every chance I’ve gotten since Friday I’ve been working on restoring posts and replacing photos on posts dating back to 2007 because Photobucket has blacked out all my photos and it makes for a very ugly sight on my posts. I’ve also had to clean up my posts on Mennonite Girls Can Cook.  I’ll keep plugging away and determine which posts are worthy to save and which ones I should just delete and not spend extra time on. Hope you all are having a good weekend.

  1. …oh how I like your weathered barns, Ellen. Thanks for sharing, this Photobucket mess would drive me to drink. Last Thursday my mural post was deleted and I somehow save it, but it’s not quite right. When things work well everything is grand, but when the don’t it’s another matter. My best to you.

  2. Beautiful barn shots Ellen – I just love them! I feel so sorry for your picture loss problems – this is so time consuming for you – ugh! I hate when things like that happen.

  3. Barns and silos always catch my eye when we are driving in rural places. You found some good ones! I’m sorry to hear about your Photobucket woes–I can commiserate as i recently went through panic when I could not find a download for good ole Picasa program for a long time. I thought I’d never be able to edit my photos easily again. Is Photobucket closed for good? It is sad to see a long running program be abandoned.

  4. Hello, great collection of weathered barns. I enjoy taking the back roads, the scenery is beautiful too. I am sorry about the photo loss, I can only imagine all the work you have to do to replace them on our post. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead! Wishing you and yours a happy 4th of July!

  5. Sooooo frustrating!! I, too, recently discovered some posts with missing photos. Ugh. I have not used Photobucket, but I am not sure what has happened or how to get them back. Technologically challenged I am.

Nice barn photos. Looking for great photo ops spices up your travels, I’ll bet.
