It’s the middle of June already. We have the furniture on the deck and it’s raining again. We really haven’t had a let’s go sit on the deck day yet. Soon we can enjoy drinking coffee in the morning out there and have a meal or two.
I wanted to show you something I didn’t walk away from at Goodwill this week. I’ve mentioned before on my blog that I am a fan of Beatrix Potter. I’m not a Barbie doll kind of person but this one caught my attention.
It cost me under twelve dollars. Maybe I’ll have to have a Barbie/Peter Rabbit tea party with Addy in a few years.
Hope you all have a nice Father’s Day Weekend. We will be spending some time with our Western Washington kids on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will improve for the weekend.

I hope the weather improves for you and that you both have a special weekend! ❤
Adorable! What a fun find!
You have the most amazing Goodwill assortments! Do have any idea how thrilled we’d be with rain in June?! We should do a trade — it’s been sunny sunny here with nary a cloud.
I feel your pain! We had two perfect deck weather days and now it’s raining again for an entire week or so we are told. I refuse to let any rain ruin my attitude this time. My furnace is running, the basement is damp, but so what? In fact, I will soon be meeting my sister for lunch. We haven’t been able to do that for some time now. Beatrix Potter Barbie was a great find and I do believe that Addy will love her one year soon…not to wish any time away. 🐰
…I’m not a Barbie kind of guy either!
Oh the Tea Party sounds delightful!!! Safe travels and hoping your weather improves.
That’s a wonderful find! You were so smart to snatch it up!
Haven’t seen that one before. What a great find.
Have a lovely weekend. I adore this particular Barbie and what a great deal!
I love Beatrix Potter characters & I think it would be lovely to have a tea party with Addy in a few years!
Happy weekend!
Ugh, I understand about the weather. A few days ago they said we were supposed to have a glorious weekend and now? Cloudy with a good chance of rain. Sigh. I keep reminding myself that summer doesn’t officially start in Seattle until July 5. Only 19 mores days!!
That Barbie is a great find! Your little Addy will love it one day.
I was going to say just what Jody said!
And if you’re going to have a barbie in the house, this one is justified! =)
