Sweet Pea Table!

I love pink and green. This table was set for ten for a dinner on my niece’s birthday a few years back while she and some of her family were visiting us in August.

The last time I participated in Pink Saturday was back in 2009! I’m in the pink today and it’s raining and I have time to visit some participants so I’m joining in! How Sweet the Sound ~ Pink Saturday with Beverly! Hi Beverly…

What are your plans for the weekend? The only things on our schedule for Saturday and Sunday are church and a soccer event. I woke up this morning to the sound of rain which is a very welcome sound in these parts!

  1. Love the pink and green table. Sweet peas are a favorite of mine – we had them on our wedding cake. This weekend is rather quiet – a good thing – as I begin teacher’s in-service on Monday. Time to clean the house and do a little shopping.

  2. Wow! Sweet peas in Washington are incredible! Mine are leggy and leafy. My granny used to grow lovely blooms like yours, Ellen.
You set the most gorgeous tables, my friend!

  3. Pink and green are a lovely color pairing…and that certainly is a lovely table!!
I am happy to hear that the rain came as predicted. Oh, how welcome that must be!

  4. Oh Ellen, this is a BEAUTIFUL table!! Pink is one of my favorite colors, and I love, love sweet peas! I never seen a bouquet of sweet peas like this. They mostly grow like vines here in N.C. Your table runner is beautiful, and I love the pink glass plates and green stemware. I almost forgot the napkins are lovely, too. šŸ™‚

I’m glad you shared this pretty table with us, and very glad for you that it’s raining out there. A blessing indeed! Have a great weekend, my friend.

    Hugs,

    Denise
