We just returned home from Eastern Washington where we saw some great barns. This wasn’t the kind of road trip where I could yell “STOP” around every corner to take a photo. We were headed over the mountains to spend quality time with our adult kids. Here’s the little barn that is on our son’s property.

I’m catching up at home as we just arrived back yesterday at five in the afternoon, in the dark, in rain showers. The time change always throws me for a loop and soon it will be getting dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. That always takes some getting used to. Hope you all had a good weekend. I’ll get my post from our time in Eastern Washington ready to go tomorrow.

Such a pretty time to drive about. I don’t mind when its dark or light, I just wish they would stop the DST and leave time alone. Joy to your week!!!
Pretty little red barn. They’re always my favorite.
a very pretty scene!
Pretty red barn among the fall colors! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Love the fall colors. Yes, this time change is messing me up too!!!
Your son’s property is so picturesque. The time change…I always dread it as the day shrinks so. It is dark by 4 here…ugh.
I took photos of barns from Maine to Houston. Funny how we find them fascinating subjects.
Beautiful Ellen! I always have trouble adjusting to the time change too!
a beautiful little barn in a gorgeous setting. great capture.

I’d love to wander in that field past that barn crunching leaves. Welcome home….and Yes….I had a great weekend. Nice to meet your brother and sister in law:)
Beautiful view with the barn nestled among the trees.
