Last night or I should say early this morning our two cross country travelers arrived home to roost for a while.
Thankfully they have their own key so I didn’t have to get up and let them in.
We thank the good Lord they made it safely through the rainstorm that was quite intense over the pass last night.
Things will be a little different around this old house while they settle in and start the process of looking for an apartment. They are breaking in the new but not completed bathroom, too. Yes…the saga continues on the bathroom.
In the meantime we’ll enjoy this next chapter in their adventure called life!
Well have fun while it lasts. That Katie finds apartments fast!
Welcome home to the travelers. You’ll be happy to have them on this coast. We will have company in our new house as well, when our SIL leaves for basic officers’ training and our two girls move in with us for a few months.
How exciting to ahve them both home! Glad your Marine son-in-law made it back to the USA safely
So he has finished his enlistment? Great that they will be living close to you!
Praise the Lord for a safe journey for your travelers! Changes, changes…and won’t it be nice to have everyone in the same vicinity? (I long for that!)
So glad they arrived safely, Ellen — that picture of them is darling! 🙂 Enjoy your time together.
Blessings,
Denise
Glad they made it safe and sound. Something tells me you guys will make an adventure out of the apartment search. It will be a search unlike any other! That’s just your way…and I love it!
That picture of his homecoming just makes me so happy. It will be fun to see what unfolds….let the fun begin and may the bathroom saga come to a happy end!
Happy homecoming for your travelers! I think Mama is happy, too.
Glad to hear they are settling in WA – I have missed seeing Katie’s pictures on your blog! 🙂
So happy they’ve arrived safely. Great smiles on your two travelers. I thought for a minute you were taking up chicken keeping!
