I’m scrambling to find the photos for Vee’s February Note Card Party. Thank you Vee for hosting. My theme this month is all about visiting Seattle and getting your photograph with the iconic Space Needle in view!
If you have never visited our beautiful city surrounded by evergreens and water you need to put it on your list of places to visit. No one has paid me to entice you to visit!
Happy to report the sun is shining right now in the Seattle area. We have had some very blustery winds and lots of rainfall over the last few days. I’m listening with interest on the storms that are predicted to hit areas in the midwest and east again and hope you all fair well. My hair has fared well today and all the grey is covered…
“Fare thee well! and if for ever,
Still for ever, fare thee well:
Even though unforgiving, never
‘Gainst thee shall my heart rebel…”
Lord Byron
Wonderful!
Wow! How amazing! These do look like picture postcards that you would love to receive in the mail! Of course it would be more fun to visit this beautiful city! Nice photos for the notecards this month! Hugs, Diane
Those are great sites for a photo. I love the Chihully floral frame on the Space Needle and the SN framed by the 4 circle cut-outs. How did you ever see that?!
Wow…I’ve never been there…beautiful shots!
Haha – I remember doing Flat Stanley with my Gr 4 class – they loved it! My grey hairs were taken care of yesterday – a good job done š
Gorgeous shots! Seattle is a beautiful city.
Your pictures do make me want to visit your city. Nice set of cards! I thought I heard your area was getting rain right now; maybe it’s over. I know you needed it.
These are great images of your fair city. We’ve been there, but not for a few years. Lots to see and do there. I hope the wind and rain abate soon. It’s blowing up a gust here again.
Such lovely vistas around your downtown area! I visited a long time ago (almost 20 years), and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Beautiful Seattle – a destination that’s on our wish list for sure! Your note cards are beautiful. Was hoping to link to this too but have too many pictures on my post – perhaps next time?
Rosella, If you ever make your way to Seattle you are welcome to one of out guestrooms!!
Love that photo of The Needle and Chihully, and the poem too. Must visit Seattle again… some day. š
Your gentle humor shines through in this selection! And I am so happy to see my favorite Chihully photo included. Can’t wait for another visit to Seattle for so many beautiful reasons.
I love Seattle so I love your note card selections. A beautiful, fun city!
You’ve sold me! Seattle looks like a nice place to visit from the photos on your note cards.
We have very good memories of the two times we have visited Seattle…and your photos speak to it’s beauty!
I love your creative shots showcasing the Space Needle! Seattle looks like a beautiful city!
I am glad that you are faring well…and that your hair is too. That put a smile on my face this morning. I raised the (white) flag with my own hair about a year ago now, but I well remember the thrill of getting the gray covered yet another time. š
I’m new to Card Party…so fun!!
Now I feel like I’ve seen Seattle. Last summer I visited my daughter in Brookings OR. My flight took me from Burbank CA to (Seattle) and back to Medford OR. So I saw the inside of the airport for a couple hours. HaHa.
Your cards are very lovely!! Thanks for the tour.
I would love to visit Seattle. One of these days if I ever get it together to get a passport.
Lovely photos of a beautiful city. I’ve only been once, years ago, but I remember it as so lush, green and beautiful…
What lovely note cards of your beautiful city. My beloved and I visited Seattle after our cruise to Alaska and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the memories.
Would love to visit one day…I will let you know when we make our plans!! ha! ha!
I do hope to visit Seattle one day! It is definitely on my bucket list š

Flat Stanley…what a hoot! Wonder if he and The Flat Princess ran off together!
Oh and I’d love to visit Seattle one day…
