My brother emailed us this photo of our Little Hope walking to kindergarten on the first day of school. Thank you for letting me steal the photo L & M!
He said that it was a good first week and an emotional first week. I got emotional just looking at our youngest niece walking the path to her public school! Love the braids!!
Numbers 6:24-26 (ESV) and (The Message)
The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
and from the Message Version…
God bless you and keep you,
25 God smile on you and gift you,
26 God look you full in the face
and make you prosper.
Beth, If you are reading this post check out the backpack that Hope is toting. Remembering our fun day in Poulsbo…
Has school started in your neck of the woods? I was telling Vee on one of her posts that I’m pretty traditional about school calendars and am always surprised to see school starting before Labor Day Weekend!
So sweet!
I agree…back to school before Labor Day: 😦
Oh what a precious picture. I love the braids too. I’m always surprised when it is time to go back to school. The older I get, the shorter the summer break seems. I am laughing about your comment on my blog about hot flashes. Been there, thankfully, not recently. Wish I could offer therapy sessions on my blog, but I’m afraid I’d need the therapy worse than my readers! Sometimes, it just feels good to let it all out. laurie
She looks very brave! How delightful to see a child walking to school. (Our schoolchildren are not allowed to do so….another burr under my saddle along with going to school in August.) Her backpack is adorable and perfectly points to her heritage. =D Love the blessing! Amen!
That backpack is simply awesome!!!!! Yeap, school started for us this week.
School starts after Labour Day here! Such a sweet picture and I love Vee’s comments!!
I love that photo of your little Hope. Darling braids! What a beautiful scripture you chose as you bless her on her way to school this year.
