More From the Road…

Although the eagles and mountains we saw on our roadtrip were the most majestic of our views we saw other lovely sights. This robin sat still long enough for me to capture with my lens.

The sun played nicely on and through the moss on the trees we passed along the road.

The last photos I took on this trip were of this Orthodox church in Arlington where we returned to Interstate 5 to head home. Love the design of the crosses.

What’s up for you today? We are having a meal tonight with 3 of our 5 kiddos. I’m thinking I’ll set the table with pink, red, and white…

  1. Oh wonderful photos! I am so impressed with them all, but especially love the robin. We won’t see one for weeks yet.

Enjoy preparing for your day. I have some shopping to do to prepare for a gathering tomorrow. It’ll be fun.

  2. I love those mossy tree pictures. Mini road trips are good for the soul aren’t they. Making baby baskets for our local crisis pregnancy center are on my list today after coffee with a friend. Family dinner with your kids…..happy, happy, joy, joy.

  3. Oh, the Robin gives such hope for Spring to come here. Beautiful photos again – especially the moss!
Curling after work tonight. Tomorrow I’ll let the steak marinate while at work and then come home to a quiet Valentine supper with the Farmer.
Enjoy your meal tonight – perhaps we’ll see a pic of your Valentine Tablescape?

  4. Ellen the light on the moss is beautiful. So many photo tutorials preach seeing light-your photo is a perfect example of that rule.

Hope we get a peek at your red pink valentines table?
