A Month of Grace…

I’m taking part in the Grace Challenge from my brother Steve’s church that begins today. One of the things I’ll be doing is being deliberate and specific about what I’m thankful for.

There are so many things to be thankful for each day. Today I’m thankful for the home God has blessed our son Dan with. Not just the home but the land and and all the equipment that came with the home.

I’m just guessing but I think Dan might be most thankful for his huge shop!

This is the back of the house. We’re discussing new paint colors with Dan and the possibility of building another deck off this part of the house.

He has lots of time to make things his own and according to his style.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Reading One Thousand Gifts helps me notice even tiny things now. He truly lives in a beautiful spot. I’m thankful for the beep that signals that our water heater is turning on to keep the water in the tank warm. It was acting up. Hubby asked God what to do and he came home with an answer the other day. He did what God told him and got it working. Thankful for a hubby who asks such things of God and the hot water!

  2. It is a beautiful property with a lot of potential. I see that we share the same little cabinet. I have mine filled with pantry items and it is so useful the way it tucks into a small corner. Don’t tell your son any of this. He could not possibly care less. Ha!

  3. What a beautiful piece of property. It looks like Dan is quite adept in interior decorating!!! 🙂 He must have learned that from you? See? It looks like I am not the only one with ideas along the line of B&B at that property…. nikkipolani is asking for reservations too? 🙂
