Last Friday I had a few hours by myself downtown with my camera. The weather was sunny with a few puffy clouds but cold.
The walk from the Pyramid Alehouse Restaurant across from Safeco Field to Harbor Steps across from the Art Museum was 2 miles round trip. I got a good dose of vitamin D. Later in the evening at the Sounders Soccer game at Qwest field the weather turned to rain. I’ll show the rest of my photos from my downtown Seattle walk during this coming week.
Hope your Sunday is going well. We are enjoying the aroma of Baby Back ribs that have been smoked for several hours and are now in the oven continuing to cook smothered in barbecue sauce. I’M HUNGRY. We’ll eat when Josh and Laura stop by shortly.
I’m linking to Mosaic Monday hosted by Mary at Little Red House.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. Iโm slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
That is just beautiful my friend. Brings back many fond memories.
Nice to hear that you had some sunshine today..Nice photos! Mmm! baby back ribs sounds really good..Enjoy!
Lovely to get your Vitamin D directly in the sunshine! That’s great! Yum on the ribs!!
What a great way to spend a spare hour or two!
Now, as for the ribs….just thinking of them makes me hungry.
I do love urban scenes, and see how you have a little sign of spring in one! Lovely!
What a great day and always wonderful to enjoy the sunshine. Love the photos and the ribs sounds delicious.
Gorgeous mosaic – what an amazing sky you captured!
Enjoy! Beautiful photos, clear blue skies, and I see blossoms…all good.
Boy! I would LOVE to spend a couple of hours with my camera in a city! Fun mosaic!
Beautiful mosaic!
Beautiful shots…Have a beautiful week!!!
Looks like a very pretty and fun day! Terrific mosaic ๐
vitamin D and Baby Back ribs … you know how to live!!!! ๐ ๐ ๐
It looks like you’ve been enjoying more sunshine than we have lately! I smiled when I saw the Duck….it brings back good memories of a rather rowdy Seattle tour one summer’s day.
I think I can smell those smoked ribs….all the way down here.
Just returned from being away for the weekend, no dinner and your ribs sound so yummy!! Great shots from your walk. Now I am off to eat, take care.
Oh your sunny blue sky is so beautiful, Ellen! And my mouth is watering thinking of those ribs. ๐ Thanks for bringing us along on your walk. ๐
It is looking quite springlike over there! Lovely.
Beatiful city shots, I can’t believe blue skies, green, and blossoms. . .It’s killin me!
We had another snow storm today, I’m so over winter!
I love your header too!
Thanks for stopping by,
Sue
At least the sun was shining! Beautiful skies for your walk.
I have always wanted to visit Seattle. It seems whenever I take a flight of at least 6 hours the plane is heading to Europe. Visiting the west coast is definitely on my bucket list. I want to visit the place where they throw the fish and I also want to sample some of Seattle’s finest coffees.
Your photos are lovely!
Beautiful puffy white clouds against the blossum. Lovely!

Lovely shots. V
Beautiful, Ellen! Looks like spring has arrived on the West Coast! ๐
A walk about in Seattle is most certainly on my to do list.
Thanks for sharing your walk with us – great photos.
Thanks for stopping by. It is unusual to see a lone goose. I suspect something happened to it’s mate.
Have a great day.
Great photos!

I can smell the ribs from here. I love Seattle. I have never been to Fisherman’s Wharf…One of these days…a nice day or two for a ladies outing.
Beautiful blue skys. I love the blooming tree and hope to see some around here soon.
How nice to see trees in bud and in bloom! We are still having a winter-like spring with lots of snow on the ground.
