Back to Our Favorite Spot…

…after a few months away and boy did we get lots of wonderful views…

As usual we arrived in time to see the sun rise.

The birds were mostly flying today because the tide was in and there was very little exposed sand.

We were treated to lots of dolphins. We even saw them jump over waves!

The dolphins weren’t concerned about the surfers and vice versa…

Tonight Dear and I are going to Tam O’ Shanter to celebrate our 35th anniversary that came and went with us in separate parts of the country in December. We are well on our way enjoying some of our favorite things here in Southern California. Dear has finally recovered from his ick and my ick didn’t get bad enough to keep me down! Praise the Lord!

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack!

Psalm 34:8-9 (ESV)

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. glory you are blessed to be able to see such beauty any time….thankful for our flat lands in this part of the Midwest and it does keep the entire country fed but we are BORING…although there are a few little spots of beauty…a bit of a break in the midst of FLAT nothingness. :o) I’m so glad I get to enjoy the entire country, even around the world some with the blogging world. Hope you have a grand week Ellen~~~you are an inspiration!

  2. That first photo just might be my all-time favorite of yours, Ellen!
