It’s time to visit Smiling Sally and see a lot of blue in the wonderful world of blogs!
While Dear and I were looking for Yard Sales he saw this great house with a very interesting hand built wall. He stopped so I could take some photos. He is really a great blog enabler.
Have a wonderful week everyone.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Oh what a fun place !!
Hi Ellen,
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. We do have a big Russian community here in Shafter. I used to work in the local funeral home and I was able to learn a lot about Russian burial customs. Very unique and different.
Shafter is a beautiful little town. I actually work in Bakersfield but I love Shafter so much that I don’t even mind the commute.
Thanks for the comments.

Whoa! Is that thing structurally sound? I do like it even if it isn’t ;-).
What a dear Dear you have to stop so you can take fotos.
xoxo Cori G.
What an amazing place!
Happy Blue Monday! ~ Haycinth
By now those men of bloggers wives have become another group of survivors eh? He knew what you needed.
That is so wildly different!
Love the saying on the gate.

What a fun blue house, Ellen. I am glad you guys stopped to take pictures. Life is too short to go to every place in the world, and because of blogland, I am able to see more places than I ever thought possible.
Have a blessed week.
Morning Ellen, What a unique place this is, I bet it was very interesting to see it in person.
Happy Blue Monday.

Good morning Ellen, I love this plac. I had a good chuckle when I read, ‘Life’s too short to complete anything.’ How true it seems.

Too funny…we’ve been needed a fence idea…wonder if my hubby will go for this one. ROFLOL over the thought that he would. But I LOVE it…those people know how to have some fun…life is indeed short. Hope you have a grand week Ellen
What a charming post :-). It’s impossible not to smile when you come across houses such as these. I loved your pictures and the collage you assembled from them. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
Every blog writer should have an enabler that cooperates and increaes the success of the writer. So fun. . this house.
Beautiful shots. Nice post
It looks like that homeowner has a great sense of humor. Thanks for sharing. I agree with Ivoryspring. Bloggers bring different parts of the world together.

It looks like the owners have a sense of humor. I love it.

What fun! I just love this. I hope you will join me for Crock Pot Wednesdays at Diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com. My “blue” this week is part of a tribute to Julia Child. Hope to see you signed up with Mister Linky.
Fun fun house. I wanna move there!
WOW!!That wall is a work of art!Nice signs, good choice of blues.Happy blue monday.
Very neat! Who could ever have ‘planned’ such a fence! It was just happenstance. It looks like it began with a few stone, then he acquired some brick and along the way he began sticking in bottles and everything! It’s almost ART! Great blue find.
This is very interesting. Looks like a fun person lives in that house. Happy Blue Monday.
