Friday’s Fave Fives ~ Memorial Weekend

My favorites for this week are all from Seattle. Sweet Susanne from Living to Tell the Story is our gracious hostess for this event. Click on over to join in or to see more favorites!

1. Enjoying time with our kids. We ate together, shopped at Goodwill together, worked together, watched soccer together, and played Rock Band together. Fun times.

2. Enjoying the Sunshine in Seattle. There’s nothing like a sunshiny day in the Seattle Area. It was even warmer than Camarillo.

3. Getting our house semi-organized now that the tile is down in the basement. We were able to move things back to where they belong and freed up our guest room area again. We still have a lot to do in the basement to call it “done”.ย  That will be our summer project.

4. Eating out after all our hard work instead of eating in and creating more dishes to wash :0)

5. Walks in the Seattle area when it’s a little cloudy with the sun peeking through…wonderful. Click here to see all the birds I saw at Juanita Bay Park.

Hope you all have had a good week. I look forward to reading about your favorites!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

Ellen, I love the pictures! Not sure which is my favorite, but I’m loving that picture of Sunlight in Seattle through the tree branches. Oh I love trees … Oh I love sunligt … God is so awesome and I love His creations.

  5. Ellen,

What a fun and lovely week you’ve had! Your basement is looking good. Is that going to be your future headquarters where you work on your ever wonderful blog posts?

  6. No computer envy here either! ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t believe I completely forgot about Memorial Day weekend when I did my 5! Now I need to call my daughter and apologize since we spent the 3 days together and had a fabulous time at the lake. Definitely one of those “bad mom” moments. Doesn’t matter how old they get, we still mess up as moms from time to time.

    Anyway….gorgeous photos – thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Pictures are so great. Thanks for sharing them especially of your kids. The flowers are georgeous and the park looks awesome. Now I’m hungry LOL Excellent FFF. Have a great Friday ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I love how you’ve included all those wonderful pictures in your FF post! I love the tablecloth in the first collage, it’s French Provencal style and I love it! Two weeks from now I’ll be on my way up there!
It looks like half of the world is rearranging furniture and moving and redecorating stuff! So did I! Almost finished now, just a couple more details till I’m done! We ate in, but it was take out food, that’s pretty much the same eh?
Anyway, have a great weekend and a lovely week! See you!

  9. Spending time and having fun with the family is definitely at the top of my list too.

Your pasta dish looks so tempting. I think I’ll order that next time I go out!

    Happy weekend Ellen!

  10. Ok, my mouth is watering from that pasta and the ice cream! The rhod….spell? bush is glorious, just can’t grow those here! looks like you crammed a lot into your time at home.

  11. I know what you mean about the sunshine in Seattle!! It is worth the wait!! Love the birds and wonder what a couple of them are. I see that one is a red winged blackbird but what’s the other pretty one?
Were any more dishes added to the lot? :))

  12. Sounds like a wonderful week in Seattle, Ellen. Those Sundaes look yummy!

Good news that your basement is underway to getting all finished up. That looks like a nice big work area you guys have made.

    The pond pictures are gorgeous.
