Juanita Bay Park ~ Bird Watching…

My last day at home in Washington I took an early morning walk at Juanita Bay Park in Kirkland, Washington. I saw a few birds I hadn’t seen before. Besides the Heron and duck I’m not sure what the other birds are. I’ll have to go back to the park in the Summer when I’ll be in Washington again and ask one of the volunteers at the park the names of these birds.

I’m pretty sure this is a Red Winged Blackbird…

We got back to the Condo in California last night after 9 PM. We’re having some classic May grey days here in Southern California. Tomorrow is my last day of our Women’s Bible Study before our Summer break. I’m getting a centerpiece and gifts ready for my table. I hope to take some photos to share later. Have a great Friday everyone!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Isn’t it fun to watch the birds? We sat out tonight and watched the cardinals flying back and forth to the feeders.

There is a tame pigeon who lives in our neighborhood. His legs are banded and you can walk right up to him and he doesn’t fly away. We also play host to an escaped parakeet who likes to sit in our plum tree and eat birdseed.

Enjoy your friends tomorrow, and have a great weekend.
