I was on a quest to make a meal with my crockpot while in Washington because that is where my crockpot lives. I looked around some blogs and found this one and now I’m ashamed to say I can’t find/remember the blog I heisted this recipe off of. I thought it was Susanne’s but when I went back I couldn’t find it. If this is your recipe let me know and I’ll give credit where credit is due…
Crockpot Ranch Chicken
12-18 drumsticks or thighs skin removed. (I used 12 thighs)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons bottled ranch
2 tablespoons flour
Spray or oil the sides and bottom of the crock lightly. Very lightly salt the chicken pieces and place them in the pot. Combine soup, sour cream and ranch dressing packet and pour over chicken.
Cook on low for 5 hours or on high for 3 hours.
Remove chicken carefully with slotted spoon. Mix bottled ranch and flour then whisk into the liquid in the crockpot. Put chicken back into pot for 30 more minutes. Serve with Rotini noodles.
This was so easy to make and it was very tasty. I would make it again. Both my son and daughter enjoyed it, too.
Mmmm…. Yummy! I love how it’s presented with the Brussel Sprouts! I like your plates too – so summery looking!
Hmm – maybe I need to be using my crock pot more too. Sure beats having to wash a bunch of pots and pans. 🙂
That sounds good – a recipe I know that my family would like too.
That really looks good. I found a site, A Year of Crockpotting—this crazy lady has tried some really bizarre things in her crock pot. I’ve decided many are worth trying. After 26 years of cooking I’m always up for new things or at least old things cooked new ways.
Hmmm…I do love a crockpot recipe…I am all for both the convenience and the idea of mellowing the flavours together.
yummy!!
thanks,
I have the stuff for your ricekrispis bars….may make them tonight or tomorrow night….
Oh my that looks fabulous!
Glad you enjoyed it! :v) And with brussel sprouts to boot. Yummy!
ellen, this looks delicious and your presentation is beautiful! 🙂 Thanks for commenting on “Good guys, bad guys” at my blog!
RYC: your question about the graphic made me giggle. If you knew how LITTLE I know about this blogging world—I have to ask anyone, everything to do something new. I just went to Google images and searched for letters. I just thought it would be an encouragement to me seeing what scriptures others picked out to share, either on their own site or in a comment to me.
*screaming with excitement* I’m gonna make this….I’m frothing.
Hey, come back when you can and get your award: Thanks for Play’n
*huggies*
This looks quick and easy. I think I’ll try it over the weekend.
