I was so happy that a butterfly stayed still long enough on my walk yesterday with Willow so that I could get a photograph. This is my first butterfly shot. I’d love to be able to get closer to one to get a clearer shot sometime. I had to zoom in fearing it would flutter away if I got too close. Dear tells me this is a Swallowtail butterfly, smarty pants!
Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! Iām slowly cleaning up my posts.
That is a gorgeous butterfly!
Hi Ellen,
So much has happened in your blog world since I last checked in. I decided to leave my laptop home while on my retreat as I seem to have a strange attachment to the darn thing.
I hope your shower went well on Sunday!
Your butterfly is lovely and your fairy girl with the dancing bunnies is oh so sweet! I LOVE THEM!!!
Hey, my husband and I are planning a weekend get away in Ventura and I was wondering if you know of any great B&B’s and restuarants. I wanted to stay at the Victorian Rose but they’ved closed thier doors for business and are up for sale. So sad!
Have a wonderfully blessed day.
Oh very well done Ellen. . I just love sneaking closer and closer . . daring yet one more step.
So pretty!
Wow! It looks so huge! Good job on the photo… Isn’t God so creative in His creation? I like the almost black and white against the pink and green…
Good job, Ellen! The butterfly is simply gorgeous. I too love all the different colors showing forth.
By the way, did you favorite win the top chef show last night?
I’d better run – talk to you later!
I love her wing span!
As though saying – this is all mine! š
amazing photo!!
GREAT Shot! Nice catch. It is so pretty.
What a lucky photographer you are! And a good one too.
What a beautiful butterfly and what a great shot!
Wow – what a stunning photograph! I recently wrote a poem called Butterfly, if you have time to read it. Oh, and I am enjoying looking around your blog – you have some great stuff on here! http://chloerichmond.wordpress.com/
