Sky Watch ~ Good Friday

Luke 23: 44-46 ~ “It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour, because the sun was obscured; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT.” Having said thus, He breathed His last.”

  1. Tree and sky shots are my favorite photo opportunities so I LOVE this.
I think your choice of scripture on this Good Friday was very well chosen.
    Easter Blessings.

  2. I love your photography. The mood is certainly Good Friday in this one. I am going to a tennebrae service at a Lutheran church tomorrow night. If you’ve never been, I bet you would be blessed. Lutheran and Methodist churches traditionally have them Good Friday night. I am neither, but love this annual service.

  3. What a photo for Easter. Thanks for sharing. The verse goes well with this photo. Thanks for reminding us the importance of Friday this Sunday.

  4. A great Easter Time Sky Watch.. Easter is a special time for you so enjoy this weekend and thank you for today posting your picture and words will mean much to many.

  5. There is a special dimension to Easter when we have first properly observed Good Friday, don’t you think? I appreciate the photo and meditation of the serious (and maybe even disturbing) events of the cross. Such amazing and profound love that God expressed! Thanks for the photo and Scripture passage.
