Home Made Pizza

So I made my trip to Trader Joe’s last week and got inspired by their “Almost whole wheat pizza dough”. From the dough I made my way to the fresh mozzarella, then to the pizza sauce, next came fresh basil, fresh roma tomatoes, and mushrooms. Couldn’t leave without an onion and garlic. I love onion and garlic. Put it all together…

Throw it in the oven. I don’t own a pizza stone but if you have one use it. While it is baking toss together a fresh salad.

    Nikki, We enjoyed it but it does have a little more chew than good ole white…

  4. Oh that looks just scrumptious. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s. I also wish we had a Target. There are some things I really wish that Canada would see as necessary.

  5. I’ll probably see you in Trader Joe’s as it’s one of our regular stops. In fact, we were in there this afternoon. I will be looking for the almost whole wheat dough as we love our pizza homemade, too.

  6. Skip the sauce, just make the dough, drizzle olive oil (just a touch), add on slices of roma, pieces of fresh mozzerrella, basil leaves, fresh garlic and a bit more olive oil. YUM!!! Such a fresh taste!! I have it all waiting here right now waiting for the right day to make it.

  7. Friday night is homemade pizza night here! That looks great! I’d love to put roma tomatoes on mine but I’d be the only one eating it….hummm…maybe that’s a thought 🙂
