So I made my trip to Trader Joe’s last week and got inspired by their “Almost whole wheat pizza dough”. From the dough I made my way to the fresh mozzarella, then to the pizza sauce, next came fresh basil, fresh roma tomatoes, and mushrooms. Couldn’t leave without an onion and garlic. I love onion and garlic. Put it all together…
Throw it in the oven. I don’t own a pizza stone but if you have one use it. While it is baking toss together a fresh salad.
And Enjoy! Bon Appetit!
Wow! Does that look good!!!
Okay! It is 8am and I am craving pizza. Thanks for that! See you tonight – Are you bringing pizza? 😉
I’ve often wanted to try their pizza dough – how did you like the flavor/texture of the “almost whole wheat”?
Nikki, We enjoyed it but it does have a little more chew than good ole white…
You’ll have to take me to Trader Joe’s, too.
Yum-o!
I want that ! Pizza with onions and mushrooms! I would sit down and eat it until it was all gone….Looks wonderful.
I enjoy making pizza too – and the family always appreciate my efforts. Next time you’re in Melbourne, I’ll do one of my specials for you!
Sounds good. I usaully make my own pizza dough using the bread machine. Found you through WordPress last month, I really enjoy the recipes and pictures you have on your blog.
Ok, I’m on my way to Trder Joe’s.
I have that in my fridge now…I love Trader Joe’s!
wow, that looks really good, can I have some if it, pleaz and thank you so very much.
This looks delicious. I can smell it!
Now that I’ve had my slice of pizza, may I offer you dessert? Please stop by my place for a sweet bloggy award!
Yum!! That makes me want to eat cheese!
I used to love Trader Joes, which was just down the road from us in Sacramento. Nothing quite like it anywhere else I have lived.
Oh that looks just scrumptious. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s. I also wish we had a Target. There are some things I really wish that Canada would see as necessary.
I’ll probably see you in Trader Joe’s as it’s one of our regular stops. In fact, we were in there this afternoon. I will be looking for the almost whole wheat dough as we love our pizza homemade, too.
You’re making me hungry! Homemade pizza is going on my menu for this week.
That looks SOOO good!
Skip the sauce, just make the dough, drizzle olive oil (just a touch), add on slices of roma, pieces of fresh mozzerrella, basil leaves, fresh garlic and a bit more olive oil. YUM!!! Such a fresh taste!! I have it all waiting here right now waiting for the right day to make it.
Love the pictures of Dan’s birthdays.
Blessings, Kim
That looks positively delicious!
Friday night is homemade pizza night here! That looks great! I’d love to put roma tomatoes on mine but I’d be the only one eating it….hummm…maybe that’s a thought 🙂
