Here’s what our weather was like yesterday and what it’s suppose to look like today. Our muddy walk was on Saturday when we had weather very similar to Sunday.

We picked the rainiest weekend of the year to check out this huge empty area behind our condominium complex that’s going to look like…
this in a little less than a year!

I’m hoping to get to see some fun soccer just steps away from my back door. Besides all these soccer pitches they are also putting in 3 baseball diamonds on the far end.
Here are more photos from our muddy Saturday walk.
This was funny, no road here but there’s a stop sign and a street sign, hmmm?

I’m hoping they find a way to save this tree.
So is this what your dog’s paws looked like yesterday Kim?
Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.

Oh, yes! When we got home from our walk yesterday, they had mud all up and down their legs and their bellies were speckled with it. We had to wash them down before we could bring them into the house! Tom said they need mud flaps!
Should’ve taken a picture, but I didn’t have my camera with them and I didn’t want them jumping up against the storm door trying to follow me into the house to retrieve it. Today’s walks promise to be as muddy, so I’ll try to get pics for you.
Yes, hope they save the tree!!!
Thank you Ellen for continuing to pray for Wanda. Seems two steps forward and one back. We continue in faith believing …. it is all in God’s capable hands.
It is a tremendous blessing to have friends like you!

What a great walk, albeit muddy! That tree is INCREDIBLE! Is it every bit as big as it appears in the photo?
By the by, you left a sweet birthday wish for my aunt on my blog, but it’s Aunt Carol’s birthday, not Aunt Sue’s … I think I posted in a confusing manner. So sorry… anyway, would you mind recommenting? I’ll just ditch the other comment. Again, my apologies, I have added the correct name to the blog title so that I don’t confuse others…
Thanks, Kim
We’ve mud too but it’s mixed with a lot of snow! Jan. thaws are a bit of a mess.
Does God love you or what? Soccer you can walk to…amazing!
That’s an awesome tree!
THANKS!!! You are sweetie… again, sorry about the confusion. Hopefully I fixed it.
Blessings, Kim
Okay, again I agree with Jody – Soccer that close! Wonderful. I like the tree too. Hope they can save it.
Lana G!
Ellen – did you feel like you were wearing ankle weights with all that mud on your shoes? Your calves will benefit!!!
That tree is stunning! Wow.
Walking in the mud sounds even harder than walking in sand. Good exercise for sure.
Hi bloggy buddies,
Our mud did weigh us down and it was kicked up on the backside of our jeans. The tree appears to be a Live Oak and we are pretty sure they are protected here in California so they’ll have to preserve it. It is as big if not more majestic than my photo shows. We were sliding in mud as if it was a ice-rink. Ha! God does love me with the opportunities I have to watch soccer here in So. Cal…
Blessings on all of you…
Happy New Year Ellen B! we’re a big soccer family – so we’d def. welcome those soccer fields. Catching up on your blog …:)
That tree is gorgeous. I hope they save it too!
