Spoken: Friends, you know, they’re there in the good times and in the bad times.
When you’re down and troubled
And you need some loving care
And nothing, no, nothing is going right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night
Chorus:
You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I’ll come running to see you again
Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall
All you have to do is call
And I’ll be there, yes I will
You’ve got a friend
If the sky, sky above you
If it grows dark and full of clouds
And that old North Wind begins to blow
Just keep your head, keep it together
And call my name out loud
Soon you’ll hear me knocking at your door
Chorus:
Now ain’t it good to know
That you’ve got a friend
When people can be so cold
They will hurt you, and they’ll desert you
They’ll take your soul if you let them
Oh, if you let them, but don’t you let them
Chorus:
You can call me when you want me
You can call me when you need me
Just call me
‘Cause you’ve got a friend
You’ve got a friend.
Words and Music by Carole King

I love to listen to many songs written by Carole King. I have some of her original stuff and I also enjoy some re-do’s. One in particular is Tapestry Revisited ~ A Tribute to Carole King.I was thinking about her song after Allistair Begg mentioned it this last week on a series he was doing on Barnabas and what an encourager Barnabas was. A true friend you can count on. Well here are some photos of people I’d call on when I needed a friend… Who would you call? Who do you encourage? Who encourages you? Who would call you?
Lovely pictures! I looks like you have a wonderful support group around you. 😉
I = It
Sorry!
Ellen back atcha: Don’t you hate when that happens and you can’t go back and fix it. Happens to me a lot. Thanks for stopping by Brian.

You are very blessed!!
Isn’t it wonderful to have family and friends that you can count on through good and bad. I’ve been blessed in the same way.
Ellen back atcha: Yes, indeed, Islandsparrow!
